Received call from 754-000-6279 but didn't leave a message.  Seems like a strange number with the 000. Caller ID showed up as "Florida."

Received this same phone call.   Didn't answer it because it said Florida.   Obviously someone who needs to be prosecuted.

754 000-6279.  After the initial robo call it prompts a request for 9.  An Amercan woman of color answered and ask for my Visa.  They offering lower credit rates.  She about my Visa again.  I asked her why was she asking for my Visa.  I don't who she is and that Visa is a vague and general term.  She asked how many credit cards did I have in my possession.  I ask who are you?  Your'e a stranger asking for credit card information.  I asked again who is she and who does she represent.  No response to my request.  She was polite and told me to have a good day and hung up.  I tried to call the number back to ascertain who the caller were.  It consistently responded that I had called to few digits.

We got a call from this number today.  Robo call said they were our credit card company and to press 9 if we wanted to  talk to a real person about lowering our interest rate to 6%.  We did that and when the woman came on, we asked her to identify herself.  She hung up.  We reported the number to the FCC using their on-line reporting form for no-call violations.  (BTW, that form is a little messy to complete...it tries to auto-fill and gets some of the info wrong. So watch that if you use it.) The same number called again later in the day but we did not pick up.  We did call our REAL credit card company and reported it to them too.

Received several calls from this number, but when I answered, no one responded.  On the last call females voice came on to tell me that it is a call regarding my credit card but not to panic, wanted to offer me  free transfer to lower interest rates upon which I hanged up.

subsequently, for the past two days I receive a call from " Unknown caller", when I answer the phone on the other end is hanged up.  Could these calls be related?

I  believe this is a scam

Rec'd call 1-21-10 at 11:18 am.  My answering machine picked it up, but they left no message.  Duration of call 17 seconds.

My answering system picked up this call. The caller left no message. My caller ID phone recorded this number. I conducted an online search for this number. A blog directed me to this report form.

Got a call from this number last night and today.  Comes across as no name then says it will lower your credit card interest rates.  Press 9 to talk to a person.  They then ask how much credit card debt you owe.  I told them a couple of thousands just to see what they were after.  As soon as they heard that they hung up, both times.  I know it was not the smartest thing to do but some of our calls from people I'm expecting a call from comes up as no name.  Now all I want to do is report this and hopefully these people will get caught before any damage is done.
