Allied Collections (ACI) looking for my ex husband.

Couldn't understand a single word he said.

This person called saying we owe money and they need to collect money. They say they are a debt collector.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

One of many calls I'm getting about a position in Columbus, NE. Same job from 6 or more different phones. How this relates to debt collection is funny compared to earlier posts for (754) 200-2950.
If so, I suspect their attempt is to hide behind my resume so I'll answer, and then reveal being after funds from spouse, deceased. Further, can't total how many calls and texts have ridden the same strategy, making gig in NE just plain suspicious. I haven't responded in any manner at all.

auto calls and gets blocked 20x . I dont think they are job agency def some kind of collections. Not interested in w/e you all are flipping bruh. Dont be calling.
