My wife keeps getting calls from 754-212-1023, claiming to be United Auto Care.  Trying to sell us car insurance.  We don't have a car, have told them 15-20 times in the last 30 days... this has to stop

This is a scam they are spoofing numbers block this number and all spoof and Sykpe numbers. They looking for victims to scam

they call late at night at early in morning and i got kids that go to bed at 10 or before for school and they call going on 11 at night i dont answer just decline the call

When they first called they filled my answering machine full. They sent tones that filled the message machine.
When they called again I asked so many question I was transformed to a supervisor eventually she hung up on me when I told her the call was a scam. Sure was fun making them hang up.

No one was there when i answered...few minutes  later I called them back and nothing if they picked up the line I didnt hear it...

Its a scam number that calls at least 2-3 times a day. They never leave a message, just call at random times during the day and night, its most likely a computer robocalling people waiting for someone to pick in which it then transfers to a live person. This is one of a million different scams coming from outside the US. These scammers are calling from either India or the Middle East and use spoofed numbers, these calls to do originate inside the US, instead their international number is re-routed through a local unassigned phone number from somewhere in the US.

The Do Not Call List will not effect these scammers in any way, which is why even if you are on the list you still get calls. The best option is to block the phone number from your phone (if it has the option) and just not answer. Unfortunately their are 1000s of phone numbers that these scammers use, and for every 100,000 people that block or don't answer, their is 1 who does and falls for their scam.

They call every week asking for Shelly something.  I call the number back and put myself on the do not call list.  Does not work.

A man with a foreign (possibly Asian) accent called today, asking if I were still at the same (wrong) address in the (wrong) state.  He asked what kind car I had.  I told t a very expensive car that I don't have. Don't know the year or model number.  I said my husband bought it for me and I just drive it.  He asked if he could talk with my husband. I said my husband would never talk to him.  He hung up.
