They hijacked my phone number. Somehow they were able to have all of my calls forwarded to their number. All of my calls were answered on the first ring, and callers heard a message telling them to leave their name, and Google Voice would attempt to connect them. I had never even heard of Google Voice. My phone records show that all of my calls for the last week and a half have been forwarded to 754-300-6049! How is this even possible?! I turned call forwarding off and changed my voice mail password. I just don't know how they did this, or why. This number had called my home many times each day for over a week before they managed to take over my phone line. They never left a message.

I suggest you look through *all* call forwarding activation/deactivation options here http://www.nanpa.com/number_resource_info/vsc_definitions.html and deactivate *ALL* of them. Search that web page for "call forward" and enter the deactivation code for each type of call forwarding (there are several) on your phone. Since you don't know which type of call forwarding they activated on your phone, you have to deactivate every possible type of call forwarding available to make sure.
