this person has sent me text messages telling to loan him 1,500 dollars  because he had a trip to London and he is in the UK at moment and he says that he miss place his wallet and valuable things where he keeps. So there fore he wants me to loan him 1,500 tho pay his expensive and or hotel bill and to get him self back home. " that is crazy because no one would let u barrow 1,500 especially if you don't know him."

this person is sstating he is in UK  and wants his neice to rent a room from me. Am trying to get him to tell me what city does his necie want to come to  but he just  sends a text with  Floida and a question mark -  How  wierd-    watch out

I had posted an add on Craigslist that I FOUND a dog...I did not lose a dog.

Anyway, he texted me asking for a code.

He also called me and said his name was Clara & he had my dog. He also asked for a code. This man is SICK if I could only meet him face to face. I was also on craigslist, but i have a missing dog :(

That is the name he used for me Clara. A few minutes later I got a code. Then he said wrong code. I am missing my puppy pit bull so I was destroy when he our she said I couldn't have him without a code.

I lost my wallet, and listed it on craigslist. I got a message in very bad english from this number (754 300 6968) stating that he was the police dept and that he had found my wallet. he sent me some crazy code from a Washington dC number  202 455 8888 and gave me some code i typed back..

I lost my dog on craigslist with a $1000 reward -- I saw the area code and immediently got suspicious (im from CO) I had my hopes up for a minute there but am glad you all posted about this scammer!

I put a notice for lost wallet on Craigslist with reward indicated and received a msg from the number mentioned.  'Jessica' said they found the number in the wallet, which was incorrect it wasnt in the wallet.  They indicated they came from Texas and requested specifics of what was in the wallet and address.

I called the number from a different number to be safe, and got a 'The google subscriber is not available'

Scumbag used "Jenni"  for an ad I posted in CO, I may need affadavits from you all to get this person.  Let me know if your available.  I live in CO, but you can have it notorized and mailed.  I am waiting to hear back from my resources.  Happy  Holidays.

I have been [***] with this guy saying I'm from the FBI because he texted me saying he found my wallet (which I lost and also posted onto craigslist) I too live in Colorado.

Claims to be "Jennie" from victoria. Found my lost wallet post on craigslist, trying to scam me.

Looks like they are busy.  Lost wallet ad on craigslist in Nevada, got a text today 12-20-12 from Jennie says she/he found it and wants the exact details to prove it's mine...  full name, address, contents....  My name is no secret but I refused to give address because if they really are holding my credit cards, they need my actual billing address to use them.  

I texted back and told them to call me because I wasn't comfortable at texting, but nothing.  :-(

Looks like Jennie is a very busy girl. She texted me from Africa with this number saying that she found my lost items from a cab in New York and wanted me to send her money for the shipment, as well as, give her my address to send the package. She couldn't describe my items beyond what I had listed on Craigslist saying the items were already packed. Once I refused to send her money, she said I was in trouble. That's some nerve.

Said she found my iPhone and gave her a fake address cuz I thought it was sketchy now what? "she's" gonna go to that address and rape them???
