Im tracing the number im going to find exactly where the hardline is coming from then im going to go there and pistol whip the [***] [***] who keeps waking me and my wife up

reported.  You might want to learn about caller ID spoofing before you go and pistol whip an innocent person.

Ever since my step daughter used my phone to apply for jobs everyone and their mother is offering to further her education. I just say I'm her and not interested and to put me on their "do not call" list. I also block them since some of these cant take a hint. :)

this number called my girls phone at about 5:30 a.m. today but we were busy with a little am delight so didn't answer. judging by the comments on this page I don't think I'll be calling them back. at least not without blocking my phone number first. thanks for the help guys.

If these scammers use a business phone system, blocking your phone number would probably be ineffective. Calling back carries risk and is a controversial subject here for several reasons (number spoofing, confirming a live person is at the end of your phone number, retaliation by spoofing your phone number and making scam calls).

I recommend not wasting your time calling scumbags. But if you must, buy a "burner" phone or pre-paid SIM so your actual number isn't as easily associated with you. Just be courteous and hold on to the number; the next poor soul getting assigned your mobile number can end up being blasted by scammers.

I do not appreciate these "salesmen", and I use the term loosely, who call and harass people to buy their products, whatever it is they are "hawking".
