I received a text from this number saying my bank account was locked. This was from a bank I do not use, so it was clearly a scam.

got this also... seems like they want you to enter your 16 digit account number on a recording... looks like a scam..

I receive the same text message. I called the number and a recording asked for pin number, expiration date and 16 digit card number. I entered bogus information and got a recording telling me my information has been recorded and hung up.  Obviously this number is just collecting credit card information.

I just received this message 6:34pm CST: From: 423 1  "525525@telus.com / bbvacompass / Account Blocked. Call:754.333.7735"

This is not a method of contact my bank uses.  I have not returned the text, or called the number nor sent an email.  None of which match.  

Clearly a scam for gaining account information.

I received this message too. I called the bank and they said it is NOT from them and do not give any information. Hopefully they are investigating.

Yep, got the same text message. No doubt about it being a scam. Will call my bank in the morning and ask them to inform law enforcement. Suggest you all do the same.

Just got the same text. Not the bank I use. Said debit card has been blocked due to an internal audit and to enter 16 umber debit card to re-activate.  Will call law enforcement in the morning. Clearly a scam.

Phishing scheme looking for account numbers.  I got a text wanting me to activate a card.  Do not respond to these scumbags.

saying for me to call this number 754-333-7735 in order to activate your card, then gives partial number of a card
i am most certianly NOT calling this, there should be a way to report these scams to the police.

Just received text same way. They give partial numbers that don't match any cards.Clearly something wrong. Going to the bank tomorrow to,let,them know. I feel sorry for anyone that falls for it...Def need to get law enforcement involved. Eastern north carolina...

Same text scam being tried on me as well.Today was the second time. Does anyone really NOT know that this is bogus?? I'm also in the OBX area of NC. I ran number on WhitePages.com and it came up as "InfoTelecom landline" in Florida.

This is the 2nd text I've received from them - date April 21... but I read on line about it being a scam with a search of the phone number.  I have to pay for every text I receive since I do not have a texting plan so it really upsets me.

Text message to call the aforementioned number regarding a commonwealth issue. Subject: Card 547182XX

Just got the same message from 754 333 7735 for Commonwealth card # 547182xx said my account is frozen and to call the above number, I don't use that bank never have.

Just got the exact same message with the same account number 5471-82XX is frozen.

I'm located in Pittsburgh, PA
