    A man by the name of Marcus Brown left a nasty message stating that he knew who I was and was going to prosecute me. For what I don't know. He had the wrong number. He would not say what company he was from nor what the whole issue was about. Whatever you do, do not give this company any information. I have a feeling they make up false information and try to trick you that you owe them.

    You are correct! IF you were going to be prosecuted, you would not be warned.  The caller is hoping to scare & extort money from anyone they can.
    Refusing to give company information upon request is also a violation of the FDCPA!
