This number has called me twice this morning (3-31-09) and each time I answer there is nothing.  I wait to see if a recording comes on but no, nothing.  The second time I called the number back, same thing, NOTHING.

This number called me and it left a 2 page fax message and then a 20 page fax to my phone number.  I googled the number and it is Portsmouth Naval Hospital best we can tell.  I think it is most likely operator error and transposing numbers.

This is the default number that calls you from Portsmouth Naval hospital.  It could be an automated reminder call, a doctor calling or even a public phone from inside the hospital.  It could also be linked from any one of the branch clinics as well.

This number calls me 2x a day startin 3 days ago on my cellphone.  I never answered and wait for the vm to pick up but nothing.  I don't even have a 757 area code and just to the area couple months ago.

It's Election Day, Nov 8, 2011.  This number keeps calling my home line every 15-30 minutes.  Makes a beep like a fax machine.   I reverse checked the number and it is a US Navy facility.  I called the number and they passed me around eventually to the right person to correct the problem.  Of course, being Navy, everyone was very polite and professional.  
It's 10:03AM, right now.... I'll see if I get any more calls.  The Naval operator gave me a special number to call if I have any more problems.

Just got 3 phone calls from this number in the same hour, when I answered the phone there was some female's voice and nothing she said sounded like English, on the 3rd time I told them "I don't know who you are, but stop calling my phone." and they immediately hung up. So far I haven't received a fourth call.

I got two calls from this number (757-953-0000) at close to 2AM this morning. I do not want any unknown caller to phone me, muchless in the early morning hours.

Left a voice mail asking how my surgery went.  Wrong number

It's NOT a telemarketer (I live across the river from the hospital), but a genuine wrong number call: maybe a patient wrote down a wrong number or they misread a number from a patient.

This is the Portsmouth, VA Naval Hospital Switchboard generic number.  The hospital or one of the clinics within the hospital is trying to reach you.

Just received a call from this number and the guy said, "A person from this number called me."  I was speechless for a second and then responded that it wasn't me.  By this time he had already hung up.  I'm the only person who uses my phone.  Strange!
