    I just received a call from this number about 10 minutes ago.  All that appeared on my caller id was "service announcement".  I called the number back and got a recording that says something like: "Thank you for calling us back.  If you not like any further information about sales and would like to be removed from our call list, please press 1.  Thank you and have a nice day."  I pressed 1, and the message repeated.  I pressed 1 again, with the same result.  I then hung up.

    ID just said CELLULAR CALL plus the number. I picked up and heard pretty bad sound quality. A recording said something about a "national survey. Press 1 to participate". Despite my better judgement, I did, and it hung up on me.

    This call came up showing as a cellular phone. Hung up before I could answer.

    Did this just happen?  I have gotten two of these that say Service Announcement...could it be phone companies doing tests?  Hmmmm, maybe this is their way of spying on us...?

    There is never anyone there...and no message left.

    Unhappy w/phone diallers
    repeated calls from this number. Caller ID lists: OPINION ONE rings twice and hangup. If I pick up in time- no-one there..  

    Figger is some form of "annoyance dialler", programmed to annoy people.

    I'm dropping this line shortly w/no forwarding number. This should eliminate these calls- there are other programmed diallers coming to my number w/similar results.

    No sense paying for a landline that has become a magnet for such calls. So far cells and other line are clean!
