I have been receiving the same call for almost a week. On his last message he told us if we will not call him back  he will  pursue federal action against us for fraud to the US Treasury.  

I received 3 messages in one day from 760-298-3949. All were the same asian accent with the same message about Treasury and helping myself. Apparently I'm really in trouble! Can't believe can make these stupid calls without any consequences.

We got a similar call from Steve Martin at the Treasury Department threatening to put us in front of a magistrate if we didn't call back.  The call came twice, one just a few minutes after the other.  Heavy accent.  Sounded like a scam.

Same message. Now his name is Steve Martin. US Treasury Dept. will always contact you via US mail. They won't leave a voice message. I ignored his first call, but he called again with the same threat so I wanted to encounter with this [***]. There was no answer and it says Magic Jack. He defintely sounded like an Asian. Not sure if he is from India, Pakistan or some middle eatern country.

Two calls today from Steve Martin.  Heavy eastern accent. Threatening my arrest because of unpaid taxes from 201, I needed to send money to avoid court action.  I stated you contact me in mail via a certified letter 1st tie.  2nd time I told him I was working wit FBI and this call was being traced, he cannot hide.

The person who writes them a check is dumb and deserves losing their money.

I told "Steve" to send me a certified letter.  When he told me there was  lawsuit, I told him I was working with the FBI and his line was being traced.  He hung up.

Steve Martin called five times on consecutive days.  Sure worry if I was elderly or uneducated....and actually responded out of fear.  A real shame folks like this have to be out there preying on others. Go get a real job like the rest of us.

I guess is the same guy that called my house today twice. The number changed, it is now 760-298-7641 and when I called back he responded saying "US Dept. of Treasury", I asked him if he was from the IRS and he said yes. Hung up on me when I refused to give him any info.

This caller phoned our hotel property as our local power company KCP&L threatening to disconnect our power in one hour if we did not make a form of payment immediately over the phone. Our management company quickly recognized the caller as a scammer and discontinued the call. heads up. This guy has nothing better to do !
