Hey I got message on my machine saying that i need to call back and found a LAW FIRM investigating my case for some pay day loan. I asked my attorney to talk to these people and get the case resolved.

When my attorney called up they gave him all the information and even a way to resolve this issue out of court.

I appreciate the services being provided by these law firms that we stay secure from the scams going around.

Don't forget to call them back they are legitimate people.

These people are scammers.  They even called my last place of employment and freaked out the people there.  Today they called and said my SS# was on hold with the US govt and my residence is under security survelliance.  Do they really think we are that stupid????

Got a a call from 052-561-938 and asked me to return the call to this number. The message said that i need to call about some debt and if i didnt i would be arested and he wished me the best of luck. they have bbeeen calling on and off for about 6 months nothing will stop them. Mr. Wilson has called me with a heavy accent about 4 times in two days looking for money.

i dont mean to be rude but you are scamming people into thinking this thing is real. they are looking for full bank account number and ID info so they can steal your identity i have filed a police report put flag on credit file, filed charges for harassment with cell phohne company i am going all out to protect myself

I keep getting the same harassing phone calls.  When I told them that I was going to get my attorney involved and I needed the details for the case, they kept hanging up in my face.  Would a legitimate company do this?  Yes, they claim to have all my info---by the way my identity was stolen recently, but they are being very evasive when it comes to speaking to their supervisors or managers to get to the bottom of this.  I'm just tired of getting these harassing phones.  They also told me that the call was beingg recorded, but as the call esclated into a heated debate, I have been cursed out and told where to put one you know what where.  WTF?  How can I stop them from calling me??

These folks at the number 760-514-0132 are scams. And if you have caller ID the number is not even a full number. They will harrass you because they are looking to get money out of you, and when you do talk with them about money they tell you to send it to a person. What company does that especially when they're suppose to be debt collection company, What indian accent speaking person you know with names like officer Williams Brown, Mark, and so on. I had my collection attorney call them, you know what they did, they hanged up on him, many, many times. Also, he asked them can they send me a debt validation letter in writing about the debt, becasue I still don't know whats it about. They told him to mind his business and put me back on the phone, WTF is that all about. He called again and asked them information about their company and where it is located, the person said the information so low and fast he didn't even get it, My attorney also aked other pernant information and they cussed at him and hung up again. Now what type of business does that. They were also told they were being recorded, the person said well record this and hunged up once again.  Now after several times of being told I was going to be arrested at my home and the police are coming to my house, I still waiting.  How about you.

I figured this was a scam because if someone puts you in collections they wont keep calling at least i think so.

This is a scam never give them any info. They have been calling my work and my sister and my cell phone. I going to file a police report on them however I do not believe anything will stop them.

I also have been receiving a few calls.  His name is Alan Marshall calling from the United National Crime Department.  He called from 430-342-0243 but told me to call back at 760-514-0132.  He stated they were in Los Angelos CA.  My name had serious charges that was going to be filed.  He has only been calling my cell number no other number.  He had a very thick accent and when I asked him what his company was he stated they are a law firm representing US National Bank that represents a online payday loan company.  He had my email and the name of my bank.  I did not give him any information due to the fact he could not give me any information.  He said I am past due on a loan.  My file would be downloaded at 5pm on Monday.  Legal action would be taken.  He had information that he should not have if I was on a secure website.  THIS IS A SCAM.  I told him to send me something in writing via certified mail stating exactly what company is seeking money from me since this is the first I have heard that I was delinquent on a loan that has been paid off for a long time.  After I hung up he called back and said they were going to contact my employer and I would loss my job.  I told him to go ahead.  I am also filing a police report.

I got a call from a person named Ricard Matthews said he was an officer from United Financial Crimes Department. I could hear a lot of distortion in the background like cars, and lot of talking in the background.  The telephone was 760-514-0132.  I work at an airport and this guy is recorded in the telephone conversation as being foreign with an accent. Anyone that get these call please report to United States Secret Service. The people are scam artist, and will stop at nothing to flim flam anyone who is not wise to them.

This is a total scam!  I have received several calls from these people and once I finally got a little information about the debt they said I owed I contacted my bank to see if I had anything returned NSF like they had said during the month they are stating and my bank said I did not.  No debt collection agency is going to treat you like these people do.  First of all, if you owe a debt you are entitled to know exactly what it is you owe, account number, ect. but they are not very willing to give you the information.  Second, they stated that it was a Pay day loan and said it was a secured loan so I was going to go to jail if I didn't resolve this matter, also false, there is no debtors prison and the worst they could do is make me pay it back, if it were indeed a legitimate debt.  Payday loans are not secured and if they are not paid they go to collections and eventually court but you are given a suppena to go to court, not a phone call from a detective or a back office lawyer.  It is completely illegal that these people are stating that they are detectives and lawyers and I really hope that somebody can put a stop to them getting away with this!  We just filed bankruptcy and beleive me I know from the numerous calls we were getting that these people are con artists and not a valid collection, law firm or whatever they choose to call themselves!

This is a scam.  Do not give them anything!!

I GOT  THIS  CALL TODAY ABOUT A LAN MARSHALL  FROM  THIS NUMBER  SAID  MY I INFO  WAS  GOING TO  BE DOWN LOADED SAID  COMPANY WAS UNTIED FINCIAL CRIME DEPARTMENT I  PUT IT  IN GOOGLE NO  SUCH NAME SCAM SCAM SCAM

I dnt know about your experince.but for me i had file for bankcrupcy and when these people called me they explained me that pay day loans are unsecured loans and they come under chapter 13 and 7 so when i confirmed with my attorney he said that it would be advicable to resolve this issue out of court. So my loan amount was $700 but with help of restitution officer i just settled my issue with a restitution amount.

no "attorney" told you to settle a debt discharged in bankruptcy - NO LEGITIMATE attorney would GIVE such bad advice to anyone.  Payday loans CAN be discharged in Bankruptcy and its ILLEGAL for a collection agency to collect debts discharged in bankruptcy.
