Got a call - said he was named Steve Martin (thick foreign accent) calling with enforcement action for US Treasury.   He said that ignoring this would lead to criminal action before a magistrate and that I need to call back at 760-666-1516 so we can cooperate and he could help us.

Have received at least 4 calls in past 24 hours. Same thing, Steve Martin...

have received two phone calls today from steve martin as above.

Got the same call twice on my voicemail today too. Caller has above number and shows as calling from California.

Ditto to the above! Silly boy, he tried  this on my brother a few months back!

Called three times today said the same thing!!!!

It's a scam. Don't send any money. The US treasury doesn't make phone calls. They send letters.

Yesterday I got three identical voice mails from this "Steve Martin" with the same threat message. What was interesting was that the vioce, the words, the intonations, were identical for all three messages so I assume they are actually computer generated. I have chosen to erase all of them.

I got the same message about an enforcement action from the U.S. Treasury.  I immediately blocked the number. As if!  I can't anyone in this day and age would fall for this.

Same as all other complaints from previous comments, received this annoying call at 6:00AM ; automated same threatening call about representing as Steve MArtin the US Tresury, threatening us we may  go in from of a Magistrate or jury if we do not make payments  to US Treasury....what can we do to find this company or persons trying to scam citizens!

6:00am scam caller from Newport Beach, ca came in!

Same thing -- several messages back to back. I couldn't understand his name though and other details due to the Indian accent.

I I received 3 calls from the same number on the same day about one hour apart.  With the same thick Indian accent.  Then two days later, I got the same message 4 times about 1 hour apart on a different number - 661/695-7835!  I know because they were all on my answering machine.

Received 3 messages from same number today. 760-666-1518, What a scam , do not send anything.

same as above- picked up told him to put me on the do not call list he called back immediately and left a message that he was with the us revenue at the end

uhh dead giveaway there buddy!

this is hilarious.  even if the US TR was making phone calls they would also specify who exactly they are looking for not just a generic message.  I love the thick accent and the name Steve Martin b/c that's common.
