This number called my business and claimed to be my electric company.  Claimed that technician was en route to shut off service and payment was required by means of prepaid cash card (I was to call back and give them the pin to pay). Caller was convincing and electric company customer service was closed. I finally was able to verify that this was an attempt at a scam.

call saying electricity would be turned off.  I told him we don't owe anything...he backed down.  Not Seattle City Light.  Called on a Saturday when offices are close

This person called and claimed that they did not receive my payment for the electric bill.  I gave him the date of the check, and the check number.  After I verified that the check was cleared by my bank, I informed him that I would not be giving out any other additional information and that I was going to report him to the proper authorities and hung up the phone

Yea this is a scam is you see this number. He claims tech's are outbound to my location to turn off electricity when i told him this was a scam and you tried it on us last week and we didn't pay you and our electric bill was current and nothing happend he got a lil upset and said i am the real OGE (Oklahoma's electric company) and he would just let the techs come talk to me and hung up. he is very convincing though says the whole thing about calls being recorded and what not
