yes i have received this call they said they were trying to collect a dept for direct tv .well i have live here where i live now since 2005 and they said that someone else must be using my name and that they would clear it up well i take no chances and called the police and reported this cause it is the county next to me that it happen in. the officers that come out to my house said that they will be looking in to it and find out whats going on

They keep calling my house talking about a debt we owe but won't tell us what its for or the amount owed. We have tried to get them to send proof but nothing !!

This is a place or person that buys real, real old debt that actually they can't collect on. I am talking 12 years old and up! Don't give them any information, just hang up and block there number.

Starting getting calls from this number.  No messages left.  ID says Richmond, IN.

The only debt I have is paid on time and I pay more than what is due. I am on the state and federal no call lists but I get a call from this number every day and several others Wish I knew how they get my number

Sounds like your getting the fake debt and extortion scam!

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

They're back! This time Caller ID says Richmond, IN. Since I don't have any overdue debts, I NEVER answer - just let it ring. They HATE being ignored and it cuts down on repeat calls by at least 90%.

Not answering does nothing to deter these vermin. Our answer machine kicks in on several of the same callers every day and we NEVER answer them. Get an answering machine and let it deal with them. Then you only answer calls you want.

I also block some through our cable company site. Trouble is, there is a 12 number max. Not NEARLY enough.

Another call today. Hangup when answer machine kicks in. Next time I'll answer and mess with them a bit.

765 378 8186  Call every morning, it's a robot call.  It cuts off because I have voice mail, so if it was a person they could at least leave a message.  If you try to call the number back it disconnects.  I get woke up to this every morning.

Got a call from a woman who spoke very poor English in a super fast Spanish accent saying I owed for a Sprint/Nextel bill. The first thing she asked was for the last 4 of my SS# and address. I didn't give her any information and she said they'd send me something in the mail and hung up real quick. I have never had sprint/Nextel service for anything!

Got a call asking me to verify my social and address for comcast. I don't have comcast. I asked what address they had and for her to tell me the social and she said no she couldn't I have to give the information to her so she can verify it. If your calling to "verify" wouldn't you at least know the address or tell me then ask if it's correct.

I called them back. They are a debt collector. Although if you ask them what they do, they say “Business management”! What a crock.
