Auto robo call stating it was the social security administration that was suspending my social security number and to press "1" for more information about my case.  Of course I did not press 1.....

Left a message saying they where from Social Security Administration telling me they have suspended my SSN due to suspicious activities.

Called about canceling my ssi, wanted personal info. Rung up and looked up phone number scam.

Declined call with message "This number is on the Natioal Do Not Call List" then listened to VM with the same message everyone else received + press 1 to hear case info. Did not press 1 and disconnected. The Social Security Administration does not contact you by phone. This definitely is a scam. Hope nobody presses 1.

Oh, My gosh.. I am so glad that you posted this phone number!! I did not press 1 either and blocked the number. This ridiculous that people have too much free time in their hands and calls out for making people upset.

Same as previously reported about Soc Sec and it’s strange that it would go to voicemail, unless they are hoping for a callback. Did anyone try to call the number back?

Warning! This is a Social Security Administration Scam!

• Only a STUPID scammer would leave a message telling you "someone" is using your SSN for criminal activities, then try to say your in trouble for something you didn't do!
• Only a STUPID scammer would say "legal enforcement tax" for a SSA scam instead of IRS scam.
• Only a scammer is going to call you and demand you pay them over the phone to avoid an Arrest Warrant, when it doesn't really exist. You would first have to go to Court and disobey a Court Order to get an Arrest Warrant issued.
  If an Arrest Warrant was issued, you would have been informed long ago in Court, as a result of failure to comply with a Court Order and then a Sheriff would suddenly show up at your door to serve it, they don't warn you they are coming.
• Your SSN can't be canceled, revoked or suspended because it is a number assigned to your birth name for Identification purposes, only scammers say it can. It IS your Identity as much as your name is.
• Only a scammer asks you to pay using Gift Cards.

SCAM ALERT!  SCAM ALERT!

Got a robo call from this number and left a message indicating that my SS number has been suspended.  Here is the message.

" From you that we just suspend your social security number because we found some suspicious activity. So if you want to know about this case, just press one. Thank you. This call is from the Department of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that we just suspend your social security number because we found some suspicious activity. So if you want to know about this case, just press one. Thank you."

Just got a call from this number and I pressed 1. A man who spoke English but with a heavy foreign accent answered and said he needed my full name to verify my account. I told him to hold on and he said nevermind and hung up on me. This guy gave up too quick. Lol

Supposed caller from Social security. Automated voice threatening to suspend Social Securiry

Same as everyone else. Fraudulent call

Got call telling same story, pressed 1 to see how they try to scam me, got connected to a Lady talking in Hindi(indian Langugage) - sounded like she knew nothing about this and she disconnected saying wrong number.

Auto robot called left message as same as many others, SSN activity, note time of day and location of call, obvious is was not a Government agency related to SS.  Note Friday, weekend most all agencies of note would be closed while scammers get your stuff.
