I consolidated my student loas away from Navient/SallyMae, at a higher rater just to get away from these lunatics. The same day the consolidation went through, I started getting calls from this number. Incessantly, at all hours, multiple times of day. I never answer, they leave at least one message a day but never actually identify themselves, just "Shelly" and "it's imperative you call me"; I know how to google.  According to spydialer, this is a Navient number. Nopie Nopie, you are not my problem any more.

“Account specialist available to assist you please return this call to 7 6 5- 8 9 6- 5 0 5 0 . We're available Monday through Friday 8 AM to 9 PM Eastern . Once again, that number is 7 6 5- 8 9 6- 5 0 5 0…”

This number keeps calling me!! Every single day!!! How do I make them stop!!? Fake scam from Navient

Well, if you owe a student loan to them then I would suggest that you either pay them or make some sort of arrangements.  If you don't owe a student loan to them simply tell them to stop calling you via certified, return receipt mail.  If you don't want to do anything then you can simply enjoy all the phone calls you will be getting.  By the way, if you do owe and don't pay they will start to take your tax returns and garnish your wages.

I don't have any student loans. I paid them all off a long time ago. These past few months I've been getting calls every single day. I even checked to make sure I wasn't crazy and actually paid them off...which I did. I'll write to them I guess. Thanks

It is always best to have a paper trail and then proof that they received your letter in case things escalate.  You are very welcome!

I called Navient directly and they said this number isn’t associated with them and it’s a scammer.

They've been calling my wife's cell phone every day for the last 2 months.  No caller ID so I blocked them.  My wife died 2 years ago in her 80s and did not have any loans of any kind, neither do I.
