- Becky DI get calls from this number daily! I blocked the number so it goes to my voicemail and I had a “message” from that number every day for the last 10 days. The message is silent with beeps here and there and they last from 30 seconds to 90 seconds. Very annoying.
- Caller: Unknown
- LMLThis number called our business today at 0856 hours. Caller ID said "Name Unknown" so I was suspicious. When I answered a recording told me not to hang up, that they are trying to connect the call, and that it was not a solicitation. Then I heard the familiar bloop! sound of an autodialer putting a call through to the next available scam artist and then... nothing. They disconnected. Epic fail for a scam artist, but I'm sure they'll try, try again.

- LaughingBoyDidn't answer, just looked it up. Likely is Synchrony Bank debt collections at least some of the time, we are a little late with a Care Credit account. For things like this, we will make our payment into their legit online site, never via phone unless WE make the call.
- Caller: Care Credit - Synchrony Bank

- Tygerkat replies to VictimIf it was Synchrony bank, why did you list your caller as Alpharetta?
And how did you reach your conclusion that Synchrony bank is "involved in spamming and illegal collection harassment"? - BethI found it funny that this number called both my cell and my work number RIGHT AFTER I sent a message to Synchrony online about an account.

- Brandon replies to MJDIt's Care Credit. You possibly that youhad some dental work done you charged? Care Credit is financed through Syncrony Bank.
- IcycowsI recently opened a credit line for Veterinary services. Within 2 days of receiving credit, I was getting at least 3-4 calls per day from Synchrony Bank for "Lazy Boy Furniture Galleries" past due notices. I immediately thought my credit number was hacked and thought it was a phishing scheme from a company other than Synchrony Bank. I even thought maybe an employee of Synchrony was selling new card holder information to scammers. The number that calling me was 800-292-7508. I immediately blocked the call but my phone still rang several times per day, leaving voice messages to call Synchrony. Today, I got a call from 770-238-1941 - also Synchrony Bank. I decided to call them back and asked for a supervisor. Her name was Shannon and when I told her about the incessant calling and that it was for product that I did not purchase, she asked if I had been a co-signer on a Lazy Boy account, to which I replied "Never." She then clarified that there were no Lazy Boy Furniture charges on my account. I then said "How do I get the calls to stop?" She said there was nothing she could do and that perhaps my phone number was erroneously entered on an account that was past due. I said "You're telling me that I have to live with this daily harassment when it is clearly Synchrony Bank that had created the problem?" I persisted and said "Surely...you can look up my number to see if it has been linked to another account." I continued "What if this was you, Shannon...and you were getting daily calls harassing you and yet you knew it was not your account"? She paused...and seemed less than thrilled to comply with my request but agreed to research the issue and put me on hold. I was on hold for a bit and after awhile she came back on the line. She said that they had indeed found that my telephone number was very close to another number listed for past due payments and that she has since removed my number as a contact for someone else's past due account. She said it was very possible that billing made the data entry mistake (fat fingered the number) and that I should not be receiving any more phone calls. All I can say people, is that if you think there is an error on your account.......speak to a supervisor directly. Be polite and be persistent. Do a role-reversal with them to get them to think how they would respond if they were the ones getting harassed. Perhaps, you'll get positive results as well.

- Fed upCaller claimed they were with Century Bank. Said they were calling in reference to a credit card I had. I advised them I have no dealings with Century Bank at all. Kept trying to get my personal information to verify. Call center sounded like it was in a foreign country. The caller's first language was certainly not in English. Do not give these people any of your personal information!

- Judy| 1 replyBoth of these numbers have been calling non stop. Have no idea who they are or why they are calling. Same story as everyone else on here. It seems like these kind of harassing phone calls should be easy enough to fix, that is why we have have federal laws and departments that control our phones, etc. We could probably put a lot of people back to work filling these kind of jobs that need to be done. Protecting our privacy for one.
- BigA replies to JudyThey are easy enough to fix if you take the time to do it instead of depending on the government to do everything for you.
