    These Clowns call and won't say anything,  I think the people that do these phone calls are Scum that can't get a job doing anything else,  like talking face to face with people.  Our elected Government should put  a stop to these  robo call. But then after thinking about it,  Our Gov. Representatives don't care about us,  just the Dollar $$$$

    I believe the national call list is a scam. Since I have put my home ph # in I get non stop calls. I just let them all go to fax machine.

    The Do Not Call Registry is not a magic switch attached to your phone line, that will block calls.
    The DNC List is NOT a call blocking service.


    The DNC list can help stop calls originating from legitimate, registered telemarketers who have paid to subscribe to the list.
    • Your calls were not from legitimate, registered telemarketers.
    • Therefore, the DNC list cannot stop those calls.

    The DNC list does not automatically block calls. It is NOT a call blocker! Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to telemarketers who registered their businesses with the FCC, and who pay a fee for the list.  The DNC list administration is supported by these fees.

    The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities, some companies with preexisting business relationships, as well as debt collectors and certain nonprofit organizations, but these organizations usually have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

    The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those telescum are not registered, do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
    It can stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.  Just think ... if there were no DNC, you would be receiving incessant calls from BOTH legitimate and spamming telemarketers!

    Fact: If a caller does not leave a message, the call is NOT a violation of the DNC rules!

    Fact: The DNCL itself has no enforcement authority - they forward complaints to the appropriate agency.

    Fact: There is no significant drain on your tax dollar because the DNC is funded by the fees they charge registrants.

    Asked for my son by name. Identified himself as Jackson Kimbrell. My son asked how he knew him. And then my son said "I don't know you" and hung up. I live in metro ATL so thought it might have been a friend. It wasn't.

    I dont ever answere unwantes calls. I have 4 number that come.thruw my holme number if its not one of those numbers, specialy says unknown private or blocked thats what they get BLOCK. IT SEND THEMTO a message that says blocks and makes an anoying noise andhangs up they still call back HAHAHA. I give the people I want the right number its not listed and is a call screening system that anounces the caller and transfers my voice messages to what phone I have listed. And if I block them my phone does not ring for them anymore. People are sellinfour numbers but they wont profit from me. I dont care who you are you wont ever get an answer. I dont have to waste my time telling you to stop calling becuase no one has that # but spammers

    It is a joke....any system that allows for opt out options is a joke...that means you expect each and every American to 'opt out' each and every call that comes in.  Further, you have no idea of the hassle and time it takes to file a complaint.  How about this: re-do the law to make it a 'opt-in' list; in other words no one could call you, not even non-profit, not polls, no one could call unless/until you 'opt-in'...now that would make too much sense...that way people like you who seem to enjoy all this phone ringing could 'opt-in' and the rest of us could live in peace!  Pls use your typing skills to promote that....me...I have two relatives to bury and six doctor appointments to go to....
