This is one of the numbers that they use to call people to offer them jobs. The 770 area code, I was told by one of their store managers, is from Georgia where they have recently consolidated their Human Resources Department for the entire company (nationwide). Individual stores are no longer (as of July 2010) allowed to hire their own people. All job offers come from this number from the Hiring Office there. If you got a call from this number, you are being offered a job. Since I used to work there and loved my job there, I would advise you to CALL THEM BACK if you filled out an application. The job offer will be for a store that you applied for, not from Texas or Georgia or any other state. This is a legitimate number. Peace out.

This is the Human Resources department for Home Depot. The number is based out of Georgia. The reason they called many people's number is because somebody filled out an application for Home Depot, and gave the number they called. If you received a phone call from this number, either you filled out an application for Home Depot, or your number was given on somebody else's job application. I was offered a position there because they had my number. Just because the phone number is based out of Georgia does not mean that they are offering you a job in Georgia. It is only the human resources department for Home Depot, and they are offering you a job at one of the locations on the job application where they got your number.

I sent an email to the customer service about an issue I had at one of the stores. They were responding to me by calling me back. They also emailed me.

I just saw that I missed a call from this number. They did not leave a message, but I imagine they are calling about the complaint email I sent. Home Depot had emailed me to ask me to review a product, but I had bought that item in a store, not online, and wanted to know what kind of linked information they had just by using my credit card. Not cool.
