- Tygerkat replies to JAThen why are you here? Do you often look up known phone numbers?
- Joanna| 1 replyI received two phone calls from this number. I rejected the 1st call because I didn't know who it was. They called right back that is when I answered. " Hi this is UPS and we are doing a package investigation. I wanted to know if you received your package on April 22nd from Zumiez. I told her to give me a second, that I had to look at my orders on my phone. I noticed she was trying real hard to disguise her accent. I asked for an order # and said she had a description of the item. I had no clue what that item was, she then gave me an order #, nothing matched. I ended the call with " it looks like we have received all of our orders" she said "okay." and hung up. Totally weird.

- Tygerkat replies to JoannaUPS doesn't just randomly do package investigations. Someone has to report a missing or damaged package. And they would ask for the tracking number, not an order number.
- AnnoyedIt may be a legit call from UPS. I do have a UPS account. I was asked to call 866-252-1165 so it could be true.

- Me replies to ChrisYou must work for the scammers because that’s a total lie. I work for UPS and I know for a fact that is not a number they use and they wouldn’t call for any of those reasons.
- Not-Important770-557-3001 just called our business. Caller ID was listed as "POSSIBLE SCAM". Guess you can't get anymore honest than that? A male caller from possibly Pakistan or India (judging by the accent) left a garbled horrible voice quality voicemail that stated that he was calling from UPS about an undelivered package. We don't have any outstanding packages coming from UPS right now, so this number is a SCAM.

- Kitt’s MomI received a call from this number today. It IS a UPS phone#. I have a claim with them currently and this was a follow-up call about my claim.

- P.Maze replies to TishYep…Its a scam
- Jeremy| 2 repliesThis guy called claiming to be UPS about a damage report on a package being shipped to someone in my household. It's a scam. Someone hacked Amazon to get shipping info about past shipments and lure gullible people... that's my guess as to what calls from this number are.
- Caller: Davey
- BigA replies to Jeremy| 1 replyYou people and you "it must have been hacked, must have been sold, must have been gotten off the darkweb" when in reality they don't need to do any of that. Especially when leaving a generic message such as a "shipment for someone in your household".
- B-Edwards replies to BigAThe more dangerous the scammers seem, the better the marks feel when they get taken.
- Wendy HigginsTold ups that if I don't answer leave a message. Got phone calls from other numbers that proved to be ups. I believe this to be a scam.
- JulesA woman claiming to be from UPS, called our landline yesterday at 8:48am (11/28/2002.) Her foreign accent was so thick and garbled we could barely understand it?! Asking us if we'd received a UPS package recently? Why would UPS be calling to ask us this? We gave up trying to understand her, so hung up! (and we gave out no personal info.) Just seemed a bit scammy?

- AlimI got call too, and asking me payable around 5k told him to sent me an e-mail with details sure still not received, so it's SCAM

- Nelson rabaçal MeirelesA gentleman from the Spanish border service called me for a package in my name, he said he sent me an email to request an authorization, but I still don't have any email...
- MaReceived a call from this no#today it was a return call from a supervisor who was helping to get a package that was rerouted through their program to a place that was closed permanently instead of to my home. This is the main hub for United Parcel Service aka UPS in Atlanta Georgia USA. It's legit.

- NotTodayLeft voicemail claiming to be from UPS. I've had an attempted theft of a package that UPS customer service and my local office assisted with over the last week. This call seemed 100% off. The topic was correct, but the speaker left callback numbers unrelated to any of the others I've used over the last week. The way he spoke was different than any of the other dozen agents I've called or had call me -it really felt scammy but since he knew what we'd been working on I doubted my feeling that it was a scam. I called the main UPS line and spoke with an agent who confirmed the last call to me came from the local office, two days before this call. Scam call for sure and I don't know if they are part of the theft ring or just happen to be throwing random details to run a different scam, but I would advise to call the main customer service line instead to ensure your details are actually being shared with UPS.
