Got a call this morning from these people but didn't answer. I have been getting a superfluous amount of scam calls to my new number and after reading all the comments, I am without a doubt positive this number is trying to commit fraud. No matter what they say to you, do -not- give out your information-- they are using the oldest (and most pathetic) tactics in the book just to get your information and their invalid stories and outdated information are proof. There's a trick to these people electronically calling numbers until someone is silly enough to answer, in which the call is then forwarded to a human. Do yourself a favor and avoid answering, or they may continue to call you since the system knows you answered once. People make a career out of doing this, probably sitting in a trailer somewhere eating potato chips all day until they get someone's info and money.

Get calls from this number daily.  We have household practice of not answering unknown calls...there is never a name shown and they never leave a message.  Called it from my cell and got 'Convergent Outsourcing'...never heard of them.  Googled the name and found they are a debt collector.  Legit debt collectors usually leave messages if they expect to collect.  Going to try to block the number through my provider.

Constant calls looking for someone who never lived here. Our phone numbers have been on the do-not-call list from day 1, but that doesn't seem to matter. We still get harassed several times a week by this number and others.

Can't be a bill collector if they're calling me.  I have no outstanding debts. Home is paid for. Car and truck are paid for. Balance on the only credit card I have is zero, and I have no loans.  Nope....not a bill collector.

Only legitimate businesses pay attention to the DNC list.  Scammers, spammers, and phishers could care less about it. I actually removed my number from the list and the calls diminished.

This number has called my 3 times FTP the past three days I called back one time thinking it might be a friend of mine since all my contacts weren't in yet but it was a recording that said it is very improtant the we speak to you so I hung up, HOW DO I GET THEM TO STOP CALLING ME?! I looked it up on whitepages using a reverse phone thing it said it is a verizon landline in Atlanta ga, but I have no bills never had a job I am just a kid with no phone using an app

Just got a call from this number saying it was Lilburn, Georgia. A British chick saying she was Kelly Smith, it was important to talk with me and a rep would be with me shortly. A guy's recorded voice saying don't hang up, repeat, then a click then nothing. I now read that these scams want you to be on line so they can track you through the phone number.

Receive multiple calls daily on my business line, always a recording never leaves messages, when connected they automatically hang up. Always a foriegn voice on recording asking for me to hold for next available rep. Called number back held and got voicemail for a healthcare debt collector, I carry insurance and have no medical debts.

Normally don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but was feeling freaky today. Caller said they were calling about a medical debt.  Not having any debts of any kind, I thought I'd play along.  I asked them, "to which medical debt are you referring?"  Woman replied. "pardon me?".  I said, "Which debt? Which hospital, provider or lab are you talking about? There are so many, and if I'm to give you the information you require, I'll need to know who you are talking about." She said, "I'm not permitted to disclose that information."  I then replied: "Well, in that case I'm not permitted to release any of my personal info to you either". She then threatened legal action. I told she could bring it on, and cackled like an old biddie on crack!  Oh how I love having fun with these morons!

I have a rule if I get more than three calls from these type of people I forward their call to other telemarketers who have bothered me. Then they can bother each other. (Most companies include call forwarding in their service plans without an extra charge.)

they have called my house several times a week..now they are using different numbers,,this has got to stop .I am keeping track of all call.

They are collection agents for hospitals. Paid all out of pocket expenses and insurence took care if the rest.... Owe them nothing

I have received calls twice from this number asking for someone who I have never heard of.

770-870-1070 belongs to Convergence Outsourcing, Inc in Lilburn, GA, which is outside Atlanta. When I called the number back, I got some rude witch who kept cutting me off when I tried to say anything then hung up on me.

From what I can find, this company buys so-called outstanding accounts from other collection agencies and then tries to collect on them. They do not verify the debts and most of them were never valid to start with or have already been paid in full.

They call every day at different times and never leave a message. It is very annoying.
