Holy moly! Thank you for this information. They called twice today from random out of state #s.  I have absolute no debt to speak of. But they left a voicemail with a WHOLE social without even verifying who it was! Is that legal? Scary stuff. So I looked one of the #s up and this what I found. This is obviously some sort of scam but I need to cover my butt and my phone privacy, worried about opening this fake wormhole

Your welcome! Yes, it is illegal. Always remember to ask them to prove you owe the debt and that they are the legal entity to collect it. They have to prove you owe and you don't have to prove anything to them.
If they say "see ya in Court", just say "make sure you bring that proof to Court". Any legit debt collector is going to work with you to settle the debt, but debt scammers try scare tactics and illegal methods.

Only called me by my first name. Talked so fast that you cant understand the company name. They said I should have my attorney call them for a deposition. Total Scam. Called from a ringless voicemail left this number to call back.

I got a phone call stating I had a judgement and I had to call this number to make a statement. I thought it was a real call so I thought I would research the number and found this. I am glad I researched the number before calling them back.
