Recieved a call this morning from a very rude woman about some sort of monetary/legal action. Said she needed to speak with me OR my attorney about this. I replied that l have no attorney, but I'm ready to listen... and she hung up on me!

Received 2 calls from them so far today. Same experience as you guys are having. Is there a way we can report this number to our mobile carrier?

She's been calling me all morning about monetary legal action for a bad check I supposedly wrote however I've never written a bad check. When I asked her to explain she became extremely rude and hung up. Then she yelled at me and hung up again when I told her I was with an attorney

I called the number back because they had called me 6 times today it's a collection agency and most likely calling the wrong number they will tell you who they want when you call back it's hard to hear the person though

I have recieved 3 phone calls from this lady today. I called and talked with my local PD and they said it's a scam and not to answer or call back because they can excess your personal information.

Leaving messages on my cell phone saying I am involved in a Crime that has to do with my checking account.  I have not called them back because they give no name of company that is calling or their name either.  Sounds very fishy to me. I figure it has to be a scam.

Received a call this morning, stating from Karen Rodgers.  I have received too many calls like this and they are scams.

I have received 5 calls in the last two days and it says I am in some legal problem downloading in my County. I have contacted my Sherriff department and they say it is a scam. I am not to answer or return the calls. The only way I can get this stopped is change my number, I refuse to do that it has been my number for at least 10 years.

Received same type of call from Karen Rodgers, very rude. Reported to state attorney general's office and they sent out form for me to complete so harassment charges can be filed against them. They will also be notified they are not allowed to contact me again. This is a definite scam. Was advised not to answer their calls or to call them back.

Received a call from these people at work today.  This is harassment now.  Stating that I owe money that I do not owe and they are going to press charges, freeze my bank account and my paychecks.

I said I was going to get an attorney to find out my rights and the lady got very rude. In looking up the business she supposedly called from, there is no such business.  Said it was Steinberg, Carter and Associates.  

Please remove my number from the scam list.  The FCC is on to you and all the participates involved.

This company just called my friend I told her to hang up its a scam. Do not answer your phone for theses people they will access your information

Just received a total of two calls at my place of employment (she called back because I could barely hear her). She claimed to be a fraud investigator and that I was the central subject of an active case. When I told her that she had to be mistaken and or was a fraud herself; she quickly became rude. I told her to never call the number again and hung up on her.

It seems these scammers that call themselves debt collectors are calling like crazy lately.  We received a call on our cell phone from a Karen Rogers who stated that she's with the criminal department and needs a return phone call.  Other debt collectors use third parties with questionable phone numbers with your area code which really aren't calling from your state at all.  This Karen said her peace then left no call back number.  report her to your state's attorney and fill out a harassment form.  By the looks of the reports filed here, these calls have all started within the last two days..  Irony is she is dead on with who she claims she's with, "Criminal Department" as her calls and threats are indeed criminal.

Calls for two weeks now, saying my name and social is under investigation. I finally answered today. Very rude woman telling me I took out a an online loan, I told her I did not! She knew my old address, old email address, my first name not my birth given name and last four of my social! This has to be a scam. Last week the prefix was 678, this week it is 770. This is driving me nuts. What can I do???!!!!
