I got a call today from 000-000-000...Thought like a block number...I din't pickup...Then they called one of my freind, he answerd ans was told to ask me to call back..I called back...Number was 772-409-6079.Jaron Blake was the man who answered & with  w/ a heavy middle eastern accent told me that there was a lawsuit against me. He gave my last four of myssn & 2 refrence name. I was in shocked...of course I told him he didnt have the right info tho. He proceded to tell me that I had to make a decision, either contact an attny & take the it to court OR settle outside of court. He never provided a specific name/district for the "courthouse", only that he would forward my info to the "county clerk" to start legal proceedings. I knew this was a scam because I never received any $...or had applied any cas loan. I asked how in the world could that be! He said the original principal balance was $600 but then he started talking really fast in his oh-so-super-clear American accent that fees & blah-blah-blah added up to make it $3900. I was laughing at this point, but still eager to find out why they were targeting me. I ask how the loan was originated & he said online. He became agitated & said "are you going to resolve this matter now or what?" I advised him I have nothing to hide or run from & I want something in writing. He said he already gave me the info i needed to know & will tell his attny that I am not willing to work out payment arrangements. I asked for the name & # for the company that supposedly originated this loan. He told me "Cashadvance" & told me their # is 516-490-8235.! An hour later I called 516 #'s back to fish for more info. The man that answered had heavy middle eastern accents & were unable to provide me with any real info. They never provided specific dates of the alleged transactions.This a scam for sure!

Any idea what should i do now?

I got a call this morning- caller ID said out of area 00000000. I did not answer. A man with a very heavy indian accent said his name is Ben Jones- yeah, right!! Anyways, he said that my sister had a loan with ACS and that I was put down as a reference and that I needed to call him back BEFORE...
something happens to you or something goes wrong with Christine (my sister)!!! His exact words!! I am pretty sure he just threated us!!! I am going to be calling our local police non emergency # to see if there is anything that can be done. My sister definatly DOES NOT have any loans with this company!!!

Got a call from investigative legal division from number 772-409-6079 which when it appeared 000000000 unknown name saying they have a law suit against me along with ss# and if I don't reply team and cop will be at door. I don't know what is going on.

Do you really think this is a legal dept that they are claiming to be? I keep getting repeated calls from this call he' keeps calling my work as well and cussing & harassing me. & than asked if i was fooling out. I asked him what that means in ENGLISH and he said you don't know what that means, your trying to make us look like fools. whatever he just keeps harassing me at work and it's embarassing Need advice!! Help

Well had the similar call left on my voice mail and seeing these post made me feel soo much better that I am not the only one!  I was so upset that I called the FDIC who they said I was supposedly being sued by and they informed me of these scams that were going on!!  And that everyone should just turn them in every time you here something from them!  They said that was the only was it was going to stop!
