Call from someone saying it was from Directv and they had questions about my credit card on file.  Directv said it was not from them.  The caller ID listed the caller as Privacy Director.

Three calls in the last 2 days. After 2 rings it always disconnects. My caller ID says Privacy Director and this phone number.

I received one call after another from this number... my privacy detector picked it up and I heard a recording saying press1 to refuse the charge or press 5 for customer service.. regardless of which option I choose the same thing happens...Then I'm told I will be charged 4.89 for the first minute and 89.00 per every min after that..I live in Florida and 772 is the area code for my area... 89.00 per minute for what ! Can someone please help me catch these people.. Cant seem to get anywhere with my local phone company , accept to #60. I'm also getting this same phone call from # 901-213-2875 with the exact same scam.

My phone rings at 8;05 am every day. Its the same two numbers 901-213-2895  and  772-879-1613
Its time to complain to the Public Service Commission. Make sure you tell the PSC that ATT refused to help , if that is the case.
