Got a call about 30min ago, but they left no message.

just a call from this ph # who is it?

Received a call from this number today. No message left. Called back to receive error message indicating that the call did not go through. Called again error indicated that all circuits were busy. Repeated calls to same effect.

Recieved a call from this number on my cell phone. No message left. I have no idea who this call was fro.

called me at 9:41 am today. no idea who it is. landline from chicago illinois. i know nobody in chicago. what the heck. im scared.

I received this call yesterday but nobody on the other line.  Any body knows about this ?  I believe it is a scam.

I received a call from this number moments ago, called twice in a row, no message left.

I get these calls occasionally. The number is always from some random State, and the call can never be traced back to an actually office or individual.  I believe there is a database of all OLD debt, that anybody and their mama can now go buy up, then turn around and set up these little fly by night collection agencies that will try to collect what they can, even if the debt is an OLD issue that has long since been dropped from your credit report.

I believe these calls are coming from bots that just run through the database of phone numbers, taking note of which calls pick up or go to voice mail.  When someone picks up, the bot probably flags it as a pretty good number to follow up with a live collection agent.  I believe the only point of these calls is to determine if your phone line is active.

773-249-5006 called my office.  Asked if I was still employed and if I was a good worker.  My finance dept asked for a name and number but they hung-up.  This is very scary

i didn't pick up.   expired car warranty notification on the message.  Fake, I don't have one....

"Missed call" at my office, apparently at 1:14PM Mountain time.  No message.

It was an automated message about my car warranty about to expire. I do not own a car... it's obviously a fake.

Old, old scam...car warranty about expire, blahblahblah, but the call is designed to get you to give them a lot of sensitive information so they can rip you off or sell your info or whatever.  Just ignore, ignore, ignore. Seems like these types of calls are becoming more common place during these difficult economic times.  There sure are a lot of sleazoids out there, sad to say.

Vehicle warranty - SPAM message - Forget about it.

Got a call on my CELL from this number during "Holy Weekend", the Saturday before Easter.  SHAME on them!  It must be some NON-Christian greedy entity to pull a stunt like that.  Didn't answer; just pressed "Ignore".

AS far as the comment about "Old Debt"; Not only do I NOT have any such, but this is a NEW number not connected to any account or credit source and this is a Pre-paid cell, so there's no debt involved.

NO, these callers are widespread CRIMINAL SCAMMERS who are trying to get personal info in order to inflict IDENTITY THEFT by getting a credit card number, date of birth, SS# or any other info so they can sell such and leave their victims scrambling to protect their assets and credit.

ALL of my numbers are on the DO NOT CALL LIST, so these people are obviously CRIMINALLY circumventing the LAW.  I STRONGLY BELIEVE that this is something that GEORGE BUSH, (PR)DICK CHENEY, AND THE REST OF THE SLEEZY REPUBLICANS pushed through, just before the last inauguration.  The ONLY solution to this is to CALL OR WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES IN THE U.S. CONGRESS and INSIST that these CRIMINALS be tracked down and prosecuted to the FULLEST EXTENT possible.  If we INUNDATE our SENATORS and REPS, then they will wake up, pay attention and CLOSE WHATEVER LOOPHOLE(S) these SCUMMERS are exploiting AND persecute them for the LAWS they have broken.
