18:00 HOURS supposedly warning me, for the second time, that I am operating my vehicle without a warrant.    Suggested touching 1 to speak with a technician.       I hung up right awasy

1 (773) 249-5009 - came up as unkown caller, I said hello once and waited. No one spoke and they hung up within a few seconds. I'm in Toronto, Canada...

A message was left on my voice mail about warranty insurance.  I'm not sure what they expect me to insure since I don't have a vehicle.

When I tried hitting 1 or 0 I got various voice messages, trying to sound like Ma Bell, but I know they weren't.

I get 4-5 calls a week from this number for the past 3-4 weeks. Each time I select 3 to be taken off the list. This time (about 10 minutes ago) I selected 1 to speak to someone and was disconnected. When I called the number back there was a recording saying that I will be taken off of the list within 24 hours. If I get one more call, they will have legal issues to deal with.

I get a couple of calls a week from this guys - I wish it would stop!

please make them stop call me about a car warrantee I never owned - my car is ten years old...

Um, you *do* understand this is an independent web site that *collects information* about random telemarketing/surveying calls, and has nothing whatsoever to do with actually placing those calls, right?

They can do no more to stop these calls than you can. In this case, it turned out that calling the number back (I'd called it originally to sternly lecture them about wasting my cell phone minutes) puts the number you called from on their "do not call" list. Whether that is actually honored or not is yet to be seen, but their choice of words (specifically mentioning their "do not call" list) makes me think they're actually being a bit more respectable than most (as far as a telemarketing scumbag can *be* respectable).

They called me, I called back, and it says my number has been placed on their do not call list and it will take 24 hrs. to update.

This person called at 9 in the morning.

Just received a call Saturday at 0930, pressed 1 to hear a real person and got a TELUS error instead. I do have a new car but will watch for this number again and not answer.

From Calgary Canada. This is a big thanks to Stephen Harper and his Do Not Call list. I got very few calls until I registered on the list and am now getting swamped. Maybe these guys could sell a warranty to the conservatives for their vote loss. They won't get my vote.

I went to a website and found out that this number is a landline with latitude and longitude co-ordinates 41.9700 and -87.9000.  I had to find the location manually and ended up at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.  On the runway?!

this ph# is set up over the net so you cant trace it noone onws this # they are tryin to froud you so the best optoins is to hang up n if they call to call 2nd time dont pick up. N how you know its someone tryin to froud you call back but block your # n see does the ph#  even exists...

been calling me for about 2 months now. numerous voice mails left saying im driving without a warranty, there has never been caller ID to correspond with the messages.  ive answered twice before of this 773 number once i pressed the option to get off the list but it didnt happen. today when i answered no one spoke

The phone rang and I was unable to reach it before it went to my answering system.  No message was left, and when I checked the number on here, it's not registered to Canada that I could find.  I'm in Gananoque, Ontario

I also received a call not once but twice this morning from 773-249-5009. Each time I would say "Hello" and wait and no one would answer me,so I hung up. I live in Winnipeg, and there is no area code with 773 in Canada. So beware everyone, another scam for sure.

I would like for these calls to stop, as I am sure it some kind of scam. I do not have time to waste with unwated phone calls, and that no one will answer back when you pick up.
