Hung up on answering machine.

Claude Meebane-Shapiro called and asked if I could donate clotes to refugees in Upper Volta.  I told him I give them to the Salvation Army.  He muttered something in Urdu and hung up.

This guy keeps calling, asking for clothing donation to Upper Pradesh.  I'm glad I took basic Urdu at the USAF Academy years ago.  I told him that I have no clothing in which he would be interested, but finally relented and offered him my Ferlin Husky T-shirt, the one on which my brother spooched the night he lost his virginity.  I had no choice, there was something in his inflection.  Can you imagine somebody, in downtown Islamabad, wearing a Ferlin Husky t-shirt?  Better that than a Barak Obama 08 Steelers' jersey.

Many calls on caller ID.  One woman swearing in background saying something about "f----g Thorek Hospital."  Not sure who it is.  I would never go to tht place even  though I live 2 miles away,
