Ditto - have no idea who it is and they leave no message

A man called me and said that I will get a free cable with my Comcast internet for the same price. I think it's a scam coz I asked if it's the number I can reach if I am not home and the man said that if I call that number, no one is going to pick up and so he called me with a different number on which according to him is the number I can reach him with.

In my opinion, he isn't really working for Comcast and is a shmuck.

I got a call from this number, but it was after a Comcast visit today. I didn't pick up, and there was no answer.

I think it's a skip tracer trying to get information out of people, probably to confirm name and address.

It is Comcast for sure.  I had the same call after a service visit today.

It was Comcast business sales.  I had requested information online.

Actually it is from the call center checking to make sue the tech showed up. Also, if all you have is high speed internet that is not a promotional rate Comcast will provide free basic cable with a cable box that has ondemand. You can do pay per view and free movies in the prefered movie collection. Call 1.800.COMCAST the free basic cable for the same price as the internet is accurate. The outbound call center system will not allow call backs on the same line. No scam real deal. If you do not want the telemarketer to put the free basic cable in then please call Comcast direct and they will be more than happy to set up a self install kit shipped for the box or you can pick it up... By all means get the freee basic cable. This is an event reminder and a official Comcast telelmarkerter.

I have gotten a call from this # several times but never able to answer. I also for some reason miss the calls. But i am not a comcast customer or have no service with them so i dont understand.
