just got a call, nobody on line when i answered.

said I entered a contest to win a cruise and my name was selected....yeah right  duh....I asked the guy what company he was calling from and he said Carnival Cruises      I said who do you work for and he again said Carnival cruises.   total liar   this call came on my cell phone

According to Brynne,  R2DMG and  just me it  definitely has to be another goddammed scam! Like all of you, I am so damned sick of these scumbags calling constantly and harassing! If something isn't done soon to stop this load of cr*p from happening maybe time we ALL do something drastic ... like cancel our phone service... be a major wake up call to people like A T & T and may send a strong enough message to the do nothing Feds in D.C. to take serious action to stop these lowlife a**holes!!!

I am receiving phone calls every damn day from this number. I know it is junk calls so I will not answer, but it is annoying. All of my phone numbers home and cells are on the Do Not Call Registry and is updated yearly, but somehow they keep on calling. I have also reported this number in the past to the DNC Reg, as I am sure alot of you have done, but yet nothing. All that hype is bologna.

I received a phone call from this number yesterday afternoon saying that I had won a free cruise. I told the man on the phone I never registered for any drawings to win a cruise and asked how he had gotten my info. He ignored my question and proceeded to ask me if I had ever been on a cruise which I replied yes. I then stopped him from asking a follow up question and asked him who he worked for and how did my name get entered for a free cruise. This [***] then said that if I "shut the [***] up he would tell me" and then hung up!  I was furious beyond words. I kept calling the number back but there was only the option of leaving my name and number for a call back or having my number removed from the calling list. Of course I chose the removal option and left a message about how disrespectful the person who called me was and how I wanted to file a complaint. I knew this call was a scam which is why I asked the questions and my theory was further validated with that rude obnoxious representative. What a joke. Take heed and Do Not Answer When You Receive a Call From This Number!! Register it with the do not call list!

got this call just now.  I wasn't getting any of these calls until I applied for a few jobs online with major chains.  (petsmart, petco, Michaels crafts, AC Moore).

Has anyone else applied to jobs online recently?  Could they be selling contact info?

I got a call earlier today from this number but didn't answer. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I never got any of these scam calls until I switched phone service to AT&T. I don't give my number out to stores or anything and I've been getting 1-2 calls per day on average.

Seems that every time I make an On line purchase, these types of unsolicited calls start and never stop! Do Not Call List is not working.
