Same Here, very annoying

I got the same call and did the same thing. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer the call. Google search brought me here. This dick's phonecall woke me up. WTF are these sorts of calls and how can the number read back as disconnected 2 minutes after the call came in?

i just got a phone call from this f### number. who the h.ll  is doing that. I dont give a s### to pay for somebodies stupid jokes.

I received the call as well.  Noon in pennsylvania. I seem to get these all the time where the number has a name on google, but if you try to call back, the number is disconnected.  Oh well...just don't answer the phone I guess.

Same as above 773-549-3987 showed up as a missed call on my Cell Phone and when called back it was disconnected. No message left. You have to remember that companies now can use any number they want as a number to call you from. There is even several web sites that you can use to "borrow" someone else's number. Is it legal? I have no idea. But it does exist. So, whoever the number might have belonged to had it disconnected and someone else is "borrowing" it. I forget how I searched that. I think I used ask.com and typed in how can I change my phone number or anonymous phone calls. Have a Happy Holiday Everyone!

The name of one of the companies is OfficialSpoofCard.com read it and it will tell you how you can do it. Amazing how things work now. I DO NOT SUGGEST DOING THIS UNLESS CALLING YOURSELF or FRIEND AND ACTUALLY SPEAK TO THEM. As this company lets you try their service out free. Use any number you want. Thats why this number is 773-549-3987 is still able to be used.

i'm in new york,att.got the call yestarday and didnt answer,they left no message.i wish i could find out who it is and do the same and redial over and over

I got a call from this number, too! I didn't answer, but I thought it might be one of my friends from Chicago calling and reverse searched the number... and found this website. Innnnnteresting.

I live in the Wash. DC area and just got a new cell phone.  This is probably a robo-dialer for some marketing company.

I didn't pick up the call.
The company didn't leave a voice-mail.  They are probably violating several no-call regulations by doing this.

Received this call at 4:30pm December 23rd. Got the same information as everyone else; busy signal when I attempted to call it back. Annoying.

Same thing happened to me on 12/23/2008.  This number called my cell but I didn't answer it because I did not recognize the 773 area code (which I now see is Chicago).  I agree about not answering calls unless you recognize the number.

My daughter, who is under-age, got a call from this guy too!!! She knows not to answer the cell when the number is not within our area code. Sounds like a pervert as well!!

I got a call from (773) 549-3987 too on Dec 23 2008..I couldn't answer and googled and found this forum

If someone knows how to stop these annoying calls, please share your secret.   Personally, I'm tired of being the voiceless victim.

I'm from staten island, new york city. i received this call at 4:02pm and didn't pick up. i googled it and got Anthony Galea in Chicago. Have no clue who that is.

Same thing as everyone else. Got the call and did not answer it. Used AnyWho and the number came up for Anthony Galea, 2000 N Lincoln Parkway Chicago.
