CALLER ID SAYS AUTO PROTECT WITH ABOVE NUMBER.
I answered and Tracy started with script that my car could still be covered by warranty.  I ask her which car she was talking about........that's where it got interesting as she wanted to know which vehicle we drove the most.........she had no idea what vehicles we had.  I told her I wasn't interested in  telemarketing call and to remove me from her list.  She said she would immediately do that.  I bet a donut that this outfit will call again within the next few days!  

How can we get these idiots to stop calling.  I get a call from them at least 3 times a week.  And I dont even own the vehicle they are calling about.

Again vehicle warranty parasites.  The woman kept talking and talking and I kept laughing.  I asked her why they had 14 pages of complaints against them for being scam artists and she said "that's a good question.  Let me ask a specialist" and then she hung up!

The line had static and hard to hear, but this woman was calling about vehicle warranties also.

Same ole extended warranty con/solicitation.  Time to blacklist another number!

They just called AGAIN.......Couldn't wait to tell them off but they hung up on me when I said hello.  Probably getting back at me for last time (see post above)

Call my home frequently.  Telemarketing.   Lately I have been pushing answer button on phone, followed immediately by hung-up button.  I used to try to be polite to telemarketers; but I get so many calls in a week, that I don't have time for that anymore.  

I'm registered with the National DO NOT CALL Registry, yet I continually receive telemarketer calls.  I used to be courteous and answer the call and ask them to remove my number from their calling list.  Now.... I get frustrated and just start hitting the ###@@@@XXXO#@#@##

The 773 area code is one of the very few area codes that we did not have blocked.  We have nearly 90 area codes blocked thanks to our digi tone call blockers - we have two of them.
As I understand it, each area code has the potential of 10,000,000 phone numbers!
We are a small business that only operates in S. California.  Calls from the mid-west and east coast are nearly always telemarketers.  We have found it more efficient to block ENTIRE AREA CODES rather than trying to block individual phone numbers  -  numbers that the telemarketers often change.  
For our business, blocking area codes is the way to go.

Auto Protect has been calling me twice a day for the past two months. A month ago I accidentally answered and they wanted me to buy extended warranty for my car. I told them no thanks and please remove me from their call list. They would not let go and said it would be very costly to repair my car if it should break down. I said in that case I'd buy a new car. After that they still call be twice a day every day! Lesson learned - never give your phone number when you buy a car.
