Left voicemail asking to speak to the person who handles the National Grid account, then hung up without a message...?

Is this national grid?  said wanted to speak to person who does the bill

Calls every day and does not leave voice mail. Today I answered and a robo sounding voice said good afternoon..  I asked can i help you and then the line went dead and then a busy signal.

Clear scam - they give a totally different call back number (978 344 6695) than the caller ID #.
They are careful to NOT identify themselves as National Grid; they are just calling about "National Grid connection fees". Caller only identifies herself as "Mrs Hawkins".

Fell for similar Scam once when man knocked on door, swore he could save us money & Nothing would change wth service Etc. Soon after, we learned Natl Grid was no longer our provider. We had to make several calls to fix everything back !  Don't fall for THIS call or Anyone knocking on your door....please.

Mrs. Hawkins called and left a message to call her back at a different phone number. She wanted to discuss our supply charges from National Grid.  Please have my bill handy when I return her important call.  I don't think so...............

got a call from somebody, thanks to CHARTER COMMUNICATION THEY ARE ABLE TO BLOCK THE call

Please block this caller. They call never leave a message. This time they said call back with your National Grid bill on a matter on my bill. I know it's not National Grid.

called at 11 AM.  I answered - got no response.  I said.....why aren't you saying anything? Are you in this world just to be a pain in the ass? - still no response; then a busy signal.

Mrs. Hawkins called at 774 314 2079 to call back at 978-6655 to discuss National Grid Charges with a reference #

I got the same message about national grid and also noticed different number than caller ID. 2nd time i've had this call . First lady sounded older than the second scammer.

Mrs Hawkins left s message to call back(different then caller id) to discuss electric delivery charges and to have my bill handy.
