Just seemed to start calling TODAY((very little info on this # yet); how lucky are WE that we seem to be at the TOP of the LIST to start HARASSING every time.  We DO NOT answer these calls, and when home we pick up/hang up w/o answering as soon as we can get to the phone to break the call and 'confuse' the robodialer.  We don't 'engage' with the FOREIGNERS who call, and have never given out personal info nor have we've been scammed.  We do not donate to strangers over the phone and are current in all our bills; we owe nothing. We have TWO call blockers and BLOCK every call we can, and REPORT to the government 'religiously.'  These CRIMINALS are NEVER going to GET ANYTHING from us, So WHY are we always the first to get these "New Number"  calls when they change numbers and start all over again?

CALLER ID SAID "VOIP STREET, INC."

claims to be veteran support fund organization. feeling very iffy about it.

Caller ID is "V" followed by 19 digits.  They leave no message.

I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number).  There is about 90 seconds of silence followed by the following message, "hello, and thank you for your call.  We're sorry that no one is currently available to speak with you at this time.  We are assisting other patrons, away from our desk, or we may be currently closed.  If you would like to try again at another time, our offices are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM eastern standard time.  Our weekend hours are Saturday 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM.  At certain times of the year we may remain open until 11 PM eastern standard time.  To speak directly to a customer service representative, please, call back during these times.  Your call is very important to us.  In order to help us serve you better, we greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide.  If you're calling to request that you be placed on our Do-Not-Call list, please, take a moment to leave a detailed message along with your name, complete address and phone number with area code.  Thank you very much.  Please, leave your message after the tone.  When done, hang up or press the pound key."  (I never place my name on the DNC list as it can actually make things worse).

I call back later to double check the message.  The message is the same, but there is no opening delay.  Hmmm.

So they spoof their caller ID, and they fail to identify themselves on their outgoing message.  Smells like a SCAM.

I received a call with an identical message a while back from 508 556 8866.  That one was for the "Firefighter's Support Foundation".  Charity Navigator has no charity with that name.  I googled the name and found an emergency management group that works with firefighters that has this name; but they are not a charity.

Just received a call from this number.  No message left - not even the usual moments of silence.  Caller ID said "VOIP STREET  INC" which means absolutely nothing to me.  Blocked.

nuisance call from steve savage for american veterans support foundation. gosh?!? he doesn't seem to understand why I would be angry that a telemarketer is interrupting my life for the purpose of begging for veterans when I know for a fact that the organization gets pennies from whatever the telemarketer hoards for themselves! no soup for you! wonder when will they call back?

CALL TYPE IS TELEMARKETER BECAUSE THAT IS WHO IS MAKING THE CALL AND NOT THE ACTUAL ORGANIZATION!

This number called again yesterday, when no one was home.  Number was already BLOCKED, so they could not get through.

Then, a little over 2 hours later got a call from "OWENSVILLE, IN" at 812-724-5441.  No msg left; no info online as yet.  Again, we seem to be one of 'the first' to get calls from 'new' unblocked numbers despite doing all we can to stop these calls.  RELENTLESS.  Often as many as 6-8 unknown, unwanted calls daily.

Four hours after that we got a call from 360-474-3296 which has a thread of complaints going back to 2012 on 800Notes: the "Alarm System" scam.  THAT one, we believe is based in India, and possibly not related to the two above.

Based on others' comments below, I believe this may be another of the INFAMOUS ***REYNOLDS*** Family Scams.  Google "Reynolds Family Scams" and you will get a boatload of hits.  They are based in Tennesse and TAMPA BAY, FLA and are MILLIONAIRES, spending hard-working peoples 'donations' to their lavish lifestyles.  The FTC shut one of them down in 2015, levying 'fines' in the millions, but then "Accepting" only $75GRAND as the TRUE penalty.  Of course, NO ONE went to PRISON, as they should have.  With wrist-slaps like this, its not hard to see why these white-collar CRIMINALS continue their SCAMS.

I'm betting this is another one of them.

Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback was answered by someone who said "hello".

Reported to DNC Registry and FBI for criminal activity.

Waiting for VIP call on health issue of dear friend.  These people made BAD news worse.
Please DNCL GET SOME HELP  peel a layer of skin off these people and add SALT..

Called us again today.  Already blocked.  Guess they think they are 'forgiven' for calling six months ago, but NO.  These phony 'charity' calls are most likely the work of the REYNOLDS FAMILY group of MILLIONAIRE SCAMMERS.  Even if the calls come in from INDIA, the call centers are HIRED by the CRIMINAL REYNOLDS FAMILY.

They didn't even bother to change their bogus Caller ID name!
