fax keeps calling my phone line.

This 778-331-2011 is an [***].  He keeps calling me every day and is anoying.  How is that the technology cannot trap this annoying monkey.

The second [***] is 778-329-0278.  They usually call in the same time intervals. Because these [***] are not annoying a government organization, they can continue their actions without being trapped by authorities.  Who cares. If you make a matter of as such to your MLA, it would still be the same. He tries first what impact your compalint would have for him being in success or his party. Otherwise he would be impartial.

calls several times a day and its just an annoying fax machine

getting annoying unwanted faxes all the time,. How do you stop them?

Steps you can take to stop these annoying calls.

Go to the Canadian Federal Government DO NOT CALL site and register your numbers for FREE!   Here is the linkhttps://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng

Wait 31 days and if the calls continue go back to the above site a file a complaint with the CRTC.  The steps they will take are described and a business could face up to a $15,000 fine.

If you're receiving a fax subscribe to an on-line fax service or connect up the old fax so that you can actually read the fax and determine who the caller is a what they are selling or promoting.  Feign interest and actually call them with a view to gathering information.  "Well I never heard of your company, how do I know that you are  legitimate?"  "Do you have a website or something that I could look at to satisfy any questions I may have?"  "Where is you company headquartered I can't find it in my phone directory or yellow pages?"  How long have you been in business?"  "Do you have any customer testimonials or customer references I can look at?"  Use you imagination to get as much information as possible.

Now if you look at the Government DO NOT CALL site you will see that a few select organizations are exempt.  That can include bona fide charities, etc. but generally all "FOR PROFIT" enterprises are prohibited.

If that is not good enough for you and they continue to call you may wish to file a small claims actions and ask for an award of damages now that there is a law written to stop this practice.  Small claims court is efficient, lawyers aren't permitted and you may be surprised at how sympathetic a small claims court judge can be to this kind of violation of law.  I can't tell you how satisfying it is to get a judgment from the court against one these violators of the Canada's telecommunications law.
