Reference 778 452 2450 - KatI got one from it a few minutes ago, exact same recording as 778-328-9992 when you pick up, and then on hold, so I hung up. If it is the same it is, or claims to be a collection agency calling for Telus but the other number at least calls over and over and over again. If they do it again changing numbers I'm going to flip!
- judy replies to Redi got one too from 778 452 2450 its puts you on hold with music and keeps coming back to its an important business call we will be on the line shortly our agents are busy if it was that important an agent would have been on the line when i picked up must be a scam of some sorts
- heavenleighI get a call from this number @ least 4 times a day never answer it though cuz I didn't know who it was from

- mr.obviousThis is CBV Collection Agency - usually deal with Telus, Bell, Moneymart, or Cash Canada debts. (I'm sure a couple others as well. They also call from 778-328-9992 as well as a few 866 numbers... Typically dealing with small claim amounts (under $500) and will typically give incredibly low settlement offers based on original bill/loan in order to clear up long outstanding debts.
- Caller: CBV Collections
- Call type: Debt collector
- aprilstop calling us if you have nothing to say your disturbing us here..were not interested to hear your call again

- Hmmmfirst call sounded like collections. second caller says it was very good news financially. so i went hmmm. until i came to this page and saw your comments. thank you.
- SamanthaThese calls should be illegal. They are intrusive and maddening. I have better things to do than listen to horrible music while on hold from someone who called me in the first place
- Caller: don't know the company name
- Mike3 to 4 calls daily which go to directly to hold when answered. Every time was left on hold for over 5 minutes without speaking to anyone. When allowed to go to voice mail, I receive conflicting messages (1. Financial Opportunity, 2. Debt Collection). I called back after 3 weeks of such calls and was connected to a Josh Booth (extension 17003). He informed me that depending upon who's behalf they were calling, he would not be able to see if the company was in fact calling my number. After speaking with his supervisor, Josh stated that the calls definitely were not coming from his company, and asked me to call him back should I figure out what was going on.

- MittGot a call twice today from this number. The first call was a recording telling me this was an important business call and apologizing for "the delay", and then waiting to while Muzac is played for someone to explain whar this was all about. I eventually got tired of waiting and hung up. Then about an hour later, another call from this same number, only when I answered the call went dead. So I called back, and got an answering machine identifying the owner as CVB Collections, but required an extension number in order for me to talk to someone there. As far as I know I am not behind in any of my bills. But then I just moved, involving a change in my postal address, so... Still, if someone wants to remind me of a bill payment they are waiting for, tactics like this are certainly not going accomplish that.

- RobbDidn't leave a message, but a quick check of the internet produced this net and answered my questions. I can see it being from Telus. They're always bothering me about something and I usually get some free air time for complaining.
- Caller: No sure

- B_LannaThis number repeatedly calls right up untill 11pm.Very annoying. I am an invalid and can't always get to phone and there never is a message but if I am resting it wakes me.Calls start at 6 am
- Caller: no one there
- Jackie+1 (778) 452-2458 so annoying they call my cell 4 times a day, they play music and say if it's not you press number 3.... But they never ask for anyone it's just some scam. I just ignore the call and sometimes I pick up and hang up so they don't leave me a MSG which I don't listen to anyways I skip to the end and delete it.

- Jeff replies to RedI agree if you guys can't pick up a phone and talk to me like a human talk about if you even have the right person on the phone then bug off. I hate say this but I went through bankrupt about 6 years ago now where I learn the law on these type of call. Just so you know if you have asked them not to call for whatever reason it it no money just plan owrong person or just simple don't call me again please they can be charged for harassment. Two agents didn't belive me cuz I was young had the call put in never heard a word ever again they have steps they need take find lope hole and they will lose that awesome job they have. And you file my be just thrown out or my disappear in years to come.
