This number constantly calls me I don't recognize the number so I don't answer would really like to know how they get peoples numbers especially mine cause mine is unlisted.

This number has been calling me almost daily over the past two weeks without leaving a message.  I've never picked up, and have now call blocked it since reading the info on this site.

I am continually getting a call from this number and I just don't answer..... they never leave a message.... but by the sounds of things, I'm doing the right thing....  it's very annoying all the same....

This is a fraud, simply. I reported this man to Crime Stoppers, hopefully he shall be stopped soon.

A few days after blocking this number, the calls stopped, but then I started getting calls from 778-373-5011.  I wonder if it's the same person...same pattern of persistence.

THIS IS A SCAM! I GOT THE SAME CALL AND LOOKED INTO THIS. CRAZY THAT SOMEONE WOULD DO THIS. I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF SUCH SCAM ARTISTS AND FAKE TELEMARKETERS. REPORT THIS NUMBER PLEASE IF ANYONE ELSE GETS THIS CALL.

Ok I got so annoyed that I called the actual Canadian Police Association (in Ottawa) and apparently yes they do contract out to a telemarketing company to solicit fundraising. I am shocked. That guy who called me was rude and definitely made the whole thing seem like a giant scam to me...

Get calls from this number almost everyday.  They never leave a message.  Based on what I have read on this web site, I do not want to answer the calls.

It is the police....soliciting! Well, using a third party. They shouldn't be saying they're the police or saying it's police business. That is illegal.
There are new laws in place in Canada as of recent (2014) that make it possible to dish out some pretty hefty fines to those who persist to call homes that are on the "Do Not Call " registry.

Same thing guy asked for donations to stop bullying.  I just stopped responding until he hung up. LOL

I get so many of these calls I am seriously considering cancelling my home phone!!!!

Use an app like true caller or Mr. Number on a cell phone.  

This number is probably from Burnaby. We have been getting calls from this area for about 5 years up to many calls per day. Telus, CPA, Cops for Cancer should all be working on ending these calls from this number and others. I am sure these calls are against the privacy act of BC as they are disturbing the peace and privacy of my home and obviously others, not to mention the possible intent of theft in its many forms.  

Got another call from them.  Told the guy he must be trying to scam me as the RCMP don't solicit over the phone.  Then hung up.
