Numerous calls from this number but no one ever says anything and never leaves message

SCAM - just another call that when you call them back - the number is no longer good, please check the number and try again. I know, I know - dont call back. Im not sure that matters (?) Sometimes I try from another phone other than the phone the caller called to. I called this # back on 2 different phones - same response. More of same.... SCAM ALERT.

Called. No one there when answered. Called back and got long beeps.

ughhh, these scammers are still at it. the worst part is they're trying to take advantage of the elderly who don't understand the end game is identity theft or maybe I'm not explaining it correctly.

This is a scam. Strangely, when the call came in, the caller ID said: "Likely Scam". Um... well, it told the truth. I answered because I adore messing with scammers. This one had an automated message: "Please hold and we'll be right with you to discuss your health care options." The message did not ID what company was calling.

Just received a call from this number to our cell. Didn't answer, no VM messages left.

I get multiple calls a day from this number. I'm not sure if it is a scammer, or telemarketer caller.

This call originates from a call center located in India operated by criminal scammers trying to steal people's money, credit card numbers, and personal identity information. This same number has been used by the East Indian criminals to pose as health care and dental insurance providers, computer support customer service, and fake IRS agents threatening you for fake unpaid back taxes. They have also use the invalid 948 area code, for example 948-650-4764, to phone with.  Blocking entire area codes has more of a lasting effect than blocking specific phone numbers.  India scammers have been using a lot of Illinois area codes these past few months for their scams. I never have any phone calls with people or businesses in Illinois so I block both the 815 and 779 Illinois area codes to wipe out a chunk of these scam calls.  Likewise, the invalid 779 area code can be blocked by everyone.  I always like to toy with these scammers and drag them along on the phone call as long as possible, pretending to be an interested unknowing victim to their scams, before I block their phone number or area code. Some people think that doing this just encourages them to call you more, but the reverse is actually true - I only get less than 5 or 6 scam calls a day now after toying with these scammers for the past two years. And usually several days every week, I receive zero scam calls. And more than 95% of the calls that pretend to sell something are ALL SCAMS, including fake car warranty extension scams, fake online pharmacies, and fake "your computer has a virus" scams. I drag out each phone call because I at least occupy the time of the East Indian scammer so he cannot spend that time scamming a senile elderly person.

This number came up on my Caller ID as Illegal scam!!

Came up as "Illegal Scam" on caller ID.

If this is a legit business (dental insurance ??) Why would Caller I.D. show "Illegal Scam" when I haven't blocked it yet............no message.........now blocked.........

Got a call from this number. Caller ID says Illegal Scam. Coincidence?

Just got a call from this number and it said "ILLEGAL SCAM" on my caller ID!!

Just got a call from 779-205-0122 and Caller ID said  "ILLEGAL SCAM"  - Well there is my first Clue!
they just made is super easy Not to pick up and block te call.

Got a call from this number but left no message BUT my CID came up showing the number with the name "Illegal Scam" attached

This was a first - the Caller ID said "Illegal Scam" on it.  Same number used to say "cust service."  Well, at least they are being honest about their motivation for calling...  They did leave a message offering to compare insurance costs.  Which is a very good way to get personal info for identity theft operations.
