never left a message

Never left a message..caller ID came up as DEBTSOLUTIONS

Called.  No message.  Federal Student Loan eligibility.  I do not even have any outstanding loans!

Called me yesterday that time was 6:15pm but no left messages at all.

Called twice within a few minutes time...

Called today (7/11/2016 @ 12:57 PM Eastern Time). Didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. Went to this site, and my suspicions were confirmed. SCAM!!!

Called back @ 2:18 PM (7/11/16). This time I answered. It was a recorded message telling me about a program to reduce my Federal Student Loans. I hung up afterwards. I answered, since this was the SECOND call from this number in the same day. I don't have any outstanding student loans.

Keep calling my cell phone.  We do not have any student loans and I do not want a recorded call sent to my cell phone.

Wanted to give me money for school loans. I'm 65 not in school, don't plan on returning either!

This is NOT the US Government calling about your student loans! The caller ID said "Joliet" and this number when I got home tonight. This is an obvious ploy to make you think it is a personal friend, perhaps who is on trouble, calling you. I called back and it said "US Department of Education code 2009A" If it was them, I am sure caller ID would say "US Dept of Education". Obviously a scam. I hung up on it.

I get these calls all of the time...on my cell and my landline, so I did some checking. They are NOT affiliated with the US government or the Dept of Education and they cannot grant anyone student loan forgiveness. Student loan forgiveness comes from the Dept of Ed and is given only in special circumstances (like you are in the military or you are permanently disabled or are terminally ill or have certain jobs), and the borrower has to apply for it. These people calling work for a for-profit company and they want you to pay them a lot of money to fill out the Dept of Ed forms for you - which would mean giving them some of your personal information!! First, they DO NOT guarantee that your application will be accepted. Second, filling out these forms and sending them in is ridiculously easy and takes no time. Third, applying for deferment or forgiveness is free and can usually be done online depending on the lender. Do not let these people talk you into paying them for what you can easily do yourself for free!

This number calls 3 or 4 times a month

Call but no message however I see from previous comments regarding reducing Student Loans which I don't have & have never had the 1st 1 ever ... these calls from dif #s & very aggravating @$$wipe$ !
