Automated call. Says IRS is filing a lawsuit.

Scammers, that say they are from IRS.  The IRS does not call to tell you they are suing you- they send you LOTS of paperwork.  I spoke with the IRS and googled this scam, and the IRS definitely does not have FOREIGN people calling to harass you.  When I told him I called the IRS and they are scammers.  Do not give them money!!! The man with an American name and very thick accent,  got snippy with me, and I told him if he calls me again, I'm calling the AG.  He hung up.

Said to call about a lawsuit filed against me!

Got a voicemail from this number asking me to call back. I call back and the person on the phone couldn't give me any info that I asked him for and going to ask me for my last four digits of ssc so he can give me more info. I hung up on him.

Got a call from them saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit on me. If they was filing a lawsuit on me then why the hell did the irs send me my refund. dum [***]

Call for law suit from IRS

**SCAMMERS** I received a call saying the IRS filed a lawsuit against me. I had to pay back $1039 or else I would have criminal charges brought against me. I told them to send it to me in writing and he got upset stating they don't have to send me anything because they already filled charges on me for filing my taxes incorrectly the last 5 years. I hung up the phone. The gentleman had a very thick accent and said his name was "Detective Sean Bennet" and his badge number was 1001029

Same here, I had been getting calls from a number in New York and Washington 6 + times per day, They never left a message, one accidentally went to voice mail and it sounded like a call center with lots of people talking in the background, no privacy wall. I blocked those two numbers this morning and then got a call from  786-209-0538 with a recording when I answered that a laws suit was being filed against me from the IRS. I am sorry but these people are the bottom feeders of scum of the earth. Come on get a real job and make an honest living. Stop trying to steal peoples identity!

I received a voicemail message from this number informing me that they were the IRS and a lawsuit was being filed against me also. Even though I was quite sure it was a scam, glad to see others reporting the same thing.

Bogus call that they are the "irs" [the gestapho of the federal reserve bank mob] and that a law suit is being filed against you! Wow! Very malicious scam!!! File complaint with fcc!!!

They called at 7:50 am today.  Recorded message telling me that To call them back at that number, I was sleeping! If you call them back they hang up!

IRS law suit filed

Recorded message telling me that IRS is suing me and I needed to call back. So I called back he told me my name and wanted more info. I asked where he was calling me from what state he was calling me from and everything got quiet and he told me he was calling from the mother F''''' Bathroom and hung up. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received phone call and voice mail saying IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I am happy to see people reporting this.  The fact that this is a fraud or scammers is just not right. Something needs to be done to stop these people

Called me and left a voicemail that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I keep getting phone calls from unwanted numbers and it's getting extremely annoying. I get calls 3-6 times a week from various numbers and I have to keep blocking them but they always find a way to get a hold of me from a new number!

This.. # 786-209-0538, has being traced to an ip address it a digital pbx system with fake / displayed of out going ph#, with voice change and texting anonymously found listed on system route to 562.421,0894 some where in u.s states.

Don't believe anything these scammers say. They claim to be from the IRS. Don't pay them anything. Call your local police and the AG in your respective state.

I've had almost the exact same experience with multiple calls. Including the one that sounded like a call center.
