Left a message saying they were a federal attorney general and I need to call back immediately.  Very illegal

Called and said it was the federal government, IRS trying to reach me and my failure to call back would result in imprisonment... very illegal and not legit at all

Just got that same call saying that it was the IRS.  This is not legitimate.  I even called it back but the IRS did not answer.

Rest assured, this is a scam. You would never be notified in advance of a warrant, the police would just show up. If you're notified, you can hide and that defeats the purpose. And you cannot pay your way out of a warrant.

Illegal call claiming felony charges have been filed and for who every answers the phone to call back.

Got the call about arrest warrant been issued for me as not paying my taxes, asked his federal identification and hung up. it is a scam and i have reported this number to IRS.

Got the same call.  I cannot block it because there is no caller ID.  They left the number to call back.  The 786 area code is Miami.  Since I don't live there, there is no way the IRS wants me to call them there. This is SO illegal!

Total Bullsh*t Scam! IRS would never call and leave a message saying "you are going to have to appear before a federal magistrate if you don't contact this number immediately". I called this number just to see if it was still in operation and was greeted with a foreign, barely intelligible voice claiming they were the IRS criminal investigation department. OMG, I almost had to laugh! The FCC really needs to clamp down on these fake callers, so I urge you to report this number to them.
