Is this phone number a scam?

Complete scam. Harasser.

The caller said they were with the Department of Illegal Affairs and that they were settling an IRS matter.

Department of "Illegal" Affairs.  Right.  Who'd fall for something like that.

Caller left message saying he was from Illegal Affais at the US Dept of the Treasury. Said law enforcement was about to arrest me and that I should call back immediately. Wished me to have a "good life" if I didn't call back. When I called back and said I worked for a federal agency and asked for identification and other information, caller hung up and now I only get a busy signal when I call back. Obviously a fraudulet call, but disturbing.

Been getting these calls to. Wish they would stop

I answered, asked person to speak up due to too  much noise (call center background).  he said  "be prepared to face the legal consequences" and hung up.   well alriiightee then.

Left message saying same as other posts here! Sick people

Same experience as above.  Guy was a complete jerk saying I should have a happy life and police will be arresting me.  Is there any legal ramifications that can be taken??

Total scam... Said I was about to be arrested for fraudulent taxes. Wished me a nice life. These people are ridiculous!

Message said that if I failed to call back or my attorney, the only thing I can do is wish you a happy life as law enforcement team would soon be at your door step...Goodbye..

I told them if they called me again I would track them down and beat the crap out of them.

Received a call from this number today. Said I was going to be arrested if I didn't call back & wished me a good life if I chose not to call

Message started recording after person started speaking so it sounded like "Legal Affairs." I thought maybe there was another word before that and got worried. Called them back and said that I did not understand the message. The woman told me "One moment," then hung up. Now it's busy. I Googled the number and found this sight. Glad I did. Big scam. Very disturbing. I wonder what they were after since were not attempting to get my personal information from me when I called. Maybe returning the call allowed them to attach a virus to my phone? Now I think I should take it to someone and get it checked out...

Just got the same call.

Just recieved the same call this time a woman answered. It's funny they say the same exact thing each time.

Got a voicemail saying if I did not call back I would be arrested and have a happy life. I have a enough to worry about with a sick Husband at home I did not have time to worry about these crazy people calling me every day. I had to be there for my family please help me stop this!!

i called back and said i was a federal agent.....and wanted there id # and the guy paniced and ask me how i got the #  hahahaha they need to call from r country dumb [***] they need to go to jail

they said i owed money to them if i didnt pay the police would at my door and have a good life
