I received calls from:    Medical Svc  520-265-8938,  Frist Medical  908-469-0995, Starr Enterprise 701-552-7499, Health Solutions 775-800-7054,  AAA Medical  949-484-8683,  Vision Solutions 734-418-9006,  Medical Solutions  786-345-1584,  Contacto Medica 864-412-3327, SR Medical Sol  913-725-0453.  A total of 14 calls in the last 24 hours.  

As soon as I block a number, they start calling from a different number.

They call my cell every 10 minutes.  No one there.  When I call back from a land line the number is unavailable.
I put my number on do not call list but somehow they get around it.
One time I answered and it started to ring as if I was the one calling them.
Scary.  I thought it might be a reverse call out of the country or something so I hung up immediately.
This has to STOP!!

I received two calls from the same "conragulations, you've won..." number within a matter of 10 minutes. If I wasn't working, I would take the time to mess with them. Oh well.

Ever since my 87 year old mother had gone through cardiac rehab several weeks ago I’ve been barraged with calls from numerous states purportedly offering a free medical alert system. I receive a minimum of 4 or 5 calls each day from the following numbers:

I have no doubt that this is a medical alert phishing scam
(see http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/personalf ... -alert/2397189/) and originates from a single source. I don’t know how these people obtained my unlisted cell phone number since the hospital’s disclosure of personal or medical information is a violation of HIPAA confidentiality, subjecting the violator to fines and penalties. Most medical care providers avoid this like the plaque.

My advice is to not answer the call and do not respond to these people in any way. Once they know your phone number is legitimate they will continue calling and may pass your number on to other scammers. It’s a PIA but I would also file a complaint with the FCC and Federal Trade Commission. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will launch an investigation.

Any scum who prey on the elderly are the lowest of bottom feeders and need to be eliminated from society.

I have been receiving calls for about a month. This people might be terrorists because they don't answer and nobody can track them to bring them to justice.

Blow a shrill whistle directly into the receiver.

It won't work as the telephone cannot transmit that loud and sudden a sound. Your hearing will pay the price-the caller (human or computer) could care less. It's a myth.

Why do you want people to damage their hearing?  It is a proven fact that telephone lines will not transmit that sound in a way that will result in any sort of result, such as damaging the person's hearing on the other end.  It will however damage your hearing.

I received 3 calls yesterday from this number at work and have received a couple already today at work.  I need this number to stop calling me.
