This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further violate it by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to pause or stop the recording and answer questions. When you do get to an operator, the operator hangs up instead of providing a phone number and address when asked, yet further violating the TCPA. The recording states that the victim has been qualified for a $250,000 loan with no credit check and no personal guarantee. This is clearly a scam, as no legitimate lender will contact borrowers this way and the operator clearly does not have enough information on the victim for them to have been qualified. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
