just another call leaving no message

Damn roofing contractor out in Colorado.  Call him at 970667-4206 for estimate,

Caller ID came up as ABCSA. No message. Blocked.

Call came in at 10:30 am on JULY 4th, caller ID said Maimi, left no message

Have received several calls from this umber and when I answer, I hear beeps and then nothing.

This caller is a fraud, claiming to be a representative of the Adult Brain Cancer Support Association (which is actually Australia, not America). But they want a creditcard number for a "donation". DON'T FALL FOR IT!

ABCSA called on 7/7/16 - I did not answer - They left no message. I hope they will get lost.

Like David above, I suggested awhile ago adding "scam" or "fraud" to the drop down menu but nobody ever listens to me.  I don't know what "SMS" means either.

I got a call around 2pm yesterday, and I heard a dial tone after my machine picked up.

Whether it's a telemarketer (I'm on the Do Not Call list but a lot of good it does me) or a scam, it's yet another unwanted call when I'm hoping it's an EMPLOYER.  These are the only types of calls I get.

Caller ID looked odd, what the heck was that?  "ABCSA"?  I first thought of ABC, the network.  But they wouldn't call ME.

For legal reasons this site can't designate a particular caller a "Scam" or a "Fraud". Nothing is stopping you from doing so. This has been gone over here countless times.
"SMS" generally indicates a text message. Not always. A fraudulent Telemarketer can spoof any number & make your CID display anything they'd like it to. Get a call blocker for your land line & a call blocking app. for your smart phone. Both are inexpensive now (under $50) & apps. are available free or for less than $5.

They called at 9:00AM Saturday.

I didn't recognize number, so I let it go to answering machine.
No message was left.

Received a call from this number, rang 4 times, then they hung up.  Put them on block.

Same here.  Number called, I didn't answer, no message left.

SMS = Short Message Service  or as commonly called on cell phones a TEXT message .

Telemarketer. New spiel, asking donations for breast cancer research. Caller was a computer, a voice response program responding to common phrases. Blocked.

Another [***] robo call. Never said anything but left a voice mail message (robo call). Called it and gave another option to "press one to remove your number form our list" recordings. not like that works. These criminal scammer people need to be stopped.

it seems a fair statement that these are criminals / Scammers calling my DNC listed #. They refuse to leave a message with a call back # because law enforcement could find them easier if they did. I don't know anyone in that part of FL anyhow....

When I answer the phone they will ask for my name like they seem to know me, when I tell them nope, not me but I could give her a message, I'm just RENTING, they lose most of their enthusiasm. I actually had someone tell me he could tell I was a renter because I was much nicer then an owner :) I try not to answer these jerks, but with family out of the country the calls don't always have a name and number. Remember your just the renter, works every time!!!  I didn't answer this one, just googled it..!!
