If BOA calls one more time I'll report them to the FCC, they call 5-6 times a day about Accident and Health insurance.

They call me a lot too after I have clearly stated I did not need their services

BOA called me.  The phone rang 3 times and then they hung up when I answered.  What is going on?

We receive calls from various numbers as "Bank of America" several times a day (like, upwards of six), starting early in the morning and right up until nine at night, never leaving a message. I finally answered one this morning. It took a second for someone to answer, and it was what sounded like an older lady; very bored, asked to speak to my husband; no "This is so-and-so from Bank of America" as you would expect from a professional. She sounded out our last name very slowly and uncertainly. When I said he wasn't in, she just hung up.

I finally got fed up and went to the BoA website. Under "Contact Us", waaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom, in teeny print, I found a link to contact them about "Privacy and Security" that lets you set your "preferences" with the company. I filled out a form and had to select to opt out of receiving marketing phone calls. (The default is apparently to allow them to call.) You have to enter your phone number manually, and if they're calling other numbers you own, you need to enter those too. After hitting submit, I was shown a form page saying that I would continue to receive pertinent calls about our account, and the marketing calls would stop... but that it would take up to 12 weeks to do so!

Here's a link to the form I'm talking about. I don't know how helpful it'll be, but just in case. Make sure to select whether you're a BoA customer, because even non customers get calls. VERY annoying and unprofessional, especially given the apparent lack of training for the operators.
