This number just called me and asked me to redeem my $40 visa gift card. I did as it said just to see what it was. It told me to hold for an operator to redeem my card and hung up on me.  I would like to know how they are getting cell phone numbers and how to get rid of them. They call all the phones i have had and i dont use my number for anything but my job.

if they hadnt hung up on u, you wouldve gotten to a represenative - aka a scammer, who would ask u for your card info so you can pay a dollar to join some savings club.... its stupid trust me...

well i knew it was a scam and wanted to basically make the lady feel as stupid as possible for daring to call me .. lol ., when she asked me for my card no - i gave it to her....BUT it was my card thats linked to a closed account, the exp dates good on it tho.... .did that because she had said she wouldnt be processing it........ using a bad card would get a reaction which would prove suspicion..

so, she asks me numerous questions about the card.. i play dumb... like, idk why it didnt work..umm let me look for another one (lol) ... i said call me back in two minutes if u can, was real friendly with how i said it ... she said no i can hold...


i pretend to be looking for another card .. then say i cant find it try the other one again if u can, she does and ask- do u not want to give information over the phone? i said do you know who the hell youre trying to scam , really lady grow up.. .and told her im reporting her.

she flipped out and tried to brib me not to report her ROFL ... or kicks, i tried calling number back, funny enough they cant get incoming calls... .

what nuts they are... so yeah sabrina u should be glad A. you didnt have to deal with them and B. that they did call me----bc i gave them such hell they may dwindle away ... i had her very convinced she was going to be served with a subpeona soon for running a fraud. company... omg funny funny stuff... it pisses me off how i literally got that number yesterday and she called me out of the blue and referenced my new email account.. wtf..

this number called and harassed my new number... they pretended to be a company saying i won a 40 dollar visa card , because i entered a contest that ive never heard of.. they wanted my card information---ironically, so i could get the visa card...


dont bother answering this call if they reach u.... they really ought to get reported... just might be the one to do it... a girl up here posted almost the exact story i wrote, sabrina.... so they are def scammers....... watch out for these people..
