Received a call from 786-358-5859 saying that service of process is scheduled to be served at home or place of employment and before they can do that they need to speak with me. No name and no message stating they are attempting to collect a debt.  Been told unless those two items above are said, this is a scam. Was told to call back 1-877-775-6221 and when I did a check on this number apparently in the 501 area code they use this number as well.  Last week I was told to call 1-888-978-3565 from same number

No one calls to give you a heads up you'll be served.  A court process server just shows up and hands you the court papers (or you'd receive the papers via certified or registered mail in some cases).  Only scammers and very shady debt collectors (who can't prove you actually owe a debt) leave illegal threats to scare people into paying bogus debts.

If they call back, tell them you're recording them per the advice of your attorney (even if you don't have one) for multiple violations of the FDCPA.  If they refuse to mail (not email or fax) documentation proving you actually owe a debt to them, per the FDCPA, you owe them nothing.

Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  You may also want to alert your HR Dept or manager if they start to call you at work.

They keep calling threatening to serve some kind of claim but they never say who they are looking for.

Received a call from 786-358-5859. Left voice message girl's voice this time. saying that I am being served this Wednesday (today) and call claimant's office with information for service of process. gave 1-877-762-7518 to call back.  Last week received same call from same number with a different call back number ( 1-877-775-6221).  THIS IS A SCAM. Was told by an attorney that no process server will call you to verify addresses they would just serve you.  Also since they did not verify their name and indicate that this is a collection of debt as stated in FDCPA you do not have to deal with them.

received a call from 786-358-5859 saying they are serving on Wednesday am. Today is Thursday. Says to call back 1-877-762-7518 and this is the last call.  Since last month I was told to call 877-775-6221 and it is the same person I know this is a SCAM.  No process server will ask you to call them and give them your information. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. Also, when I check the number on Google was given a 501 area code for same 877 number so this is definitely a scam call.

just received a call from 786-358-5859. stating they were serving a claim on me. I called back the number and was told the mail box was full and that I could not leave a message. called back and again and got a person
that said they were looking for a Tomika ????. It is a Claims service. was told that my number would be deleted off the system as they have machine that does ramdom calling.

Got a call a little while ago, again from this number 786-358-5859 A complaint has been filed and my statement must be obtained and they need to verify address for service and they requested that I call 1-877-771-9735. Again as a former investigator these are not normal tactics. These are scammers with new tactics calling to collect a debt or scam you into calling an 800 number where you will be billed per minute. DO NOT CALL OR FALL FOR THIS. REPORT THEM!!!.

Received the same call today like Ken above.
Please be aware that this is a scam. they do not leave their name, that they are a debt collector and are attempting to collect a debt and unless they state that you do not have to talk to them.
