DTech Solution saying they will be charging my credit card for security software if I don't cancel within 48 hours and I need to call the mentioned number

Stated they would charge my credit card for a purchase unless I called to cancel.

I've gotten the same scammer call as everyone else.  What I want to know is if we know the number that they can be called back on, why can't someone track them down and arrest them?  This is crap!

Because the number they use are only temporary ones. There are so many online services where you can get a free number to use anonymously, like textnow.. Scammers also trick people into giving them a verification code which they use to get a google voice number on someones phone, leaving them anonymous to go scamming.

Got the same scam call from VTech Solutions.  Seems this is an ongoing Scam call that's been made with multiple numbers for the past few years. They said my credit card would be charged $249 to extend my support and I need to call them back for a refund. Sneaky, because VTech Solutions is a REAL company that does this kind of work and has an office in my hometown, Plano, TX. But this call is a pure SCAM to get me to give them my credit card number.  The real VTech has issued warnings about these scam callings.

I got same call.  I reported it to the FTC.  Go on line and fill out form

Left voice mail saying my card will be charged $249.99 for antivirus security...caller was VTech with a lovely robotic voice....call within 48 hours if I don’t want ... pretty sure I’ll ignore this call like I’ve ignored the past 25 or so calls....hey VTech... your call ranks 3rd behind the Social Security and IRS scam calls...at least those calls are worth a good laugh...

V-Tech saying they are charging me $299.99 to renew my anti-virus subscription - SCAM!!!

Same call. Left voice message saying my card will be charged $249.99 and to call to cancel/ refund within 48 hours. caller was VTech with a robotic voice.

I just got a voicemail that said the same thing - going to charge me 249.99 within 24 hours from VTEC solution.  So I called them, and said I wanted to be able to cancel on my own, to please give me a website where I can cancel on my own.  He then said that he would need me to open up my Chrome - and with that I told him no and hung up

Yes I got a call saying the guy who won the powerball wanted to share his money with me but I have to purchase 100 dollar steam card to receive it

Left an odd text "hello how are you?"  I didn't respond, figured it was a scam..

They called me and said I had a legal matter they had to deal with regarding Wells Fargo.  I told them I had never had a wells fargo acct.  They then asked if the last four of my social was..... and my birthday was...... (they had everything).  I told them I wouldn't give them anything over the phone because clearly they didn't know what they were talking about
